Apple is working for consumers; that will show in the long-run. Android only has share because there was no "free" iPhone and no iPhone on VZW. It's a done deal now, no matter what anyone thinks. How about I couldn't care less? Is that a better rationalization?
All over US. Plus, I could just get a different SIM for other parts of the world. Supposedly, it was bad in big cities early-on. I see no problem anymore.
iCloud is free. You only pay for match ($25/yr) if you want it. While not illegal, it doesn't seem Google ever talked to the content providers, similar to Google TV. Apple's service is much more legitimate, and won't be subject to whatever legal action the labels may try.
Nope, it's free for iTMS purchases and $25/yr for all else. I've never been anywhere AT&T didn't have a good signal, or I can just hit the cache button if I'm going on a plane. As for the EULA, never happened and couldn't care less. I don't do illegal music, so I have nothing to hide. The only reason Apple would change anything in a negative way is if the music industry forced them, such the old limits to five devices or ten burns of a playlist. Apple has been fighting for the consumer for a long time.
This game would be great as an MMO, where you could fly with others. I wonder if a "serious" MMO, where you're actually logging hours would do well. How would kids messing with people actually using it as a simulator work? Play servers and serious servers, where you'll be booted if you mess around?
Coming from what I know - because I own a 3GS - iOS 5 is great.
Also, coming from what I know, since I was forced to do Android dev work, is that, other than Nexus phones, the official upgrade path is non-existent. Of course, yes, there is always Cyanogenmod. Which would be fine; I'll even say that I would probably be happy with an Android, since I could do Cyanogen. However, a lot of these consumers couldn't even program a VCR, let alone install custom firmware. Most don't even know Cyanogen exists.
Android would be a lot more effective in the long-run if the Nexus phones were the only official models.
The few places that still use flash for video are coming around. Plus, there are far fewer ads when you don't have flash. Also, it's a tablet; it has an on-screen keyboard. I don't know what "proper keyboard" means, but I assume you mean physical. In that case, you can just buy any Bluetooth kbd or Apple's. Still, if you want a physical keyboard, a tablet probably isn't what you want.
I guess the disappointment is mostly on my end. I'm a huge Linux user and fan of OSS in-general. I'm hoping regular consumers don't associate Android with Linux and think all OSS is disappointing.
iCloud came-out a few weeks ago and the iPhone has been out since 2007, So, you probably didn't need an iCloud account for the over four years the iPhone has been out.
Huh, slave == $0.00/hr; they're not slaves.

mssh?
Huh, read the docs: http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/ iTMS stuff is free...
Nope. iTMS music doesn't count towards the total. http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/

- Submitted over the course of 30 minutes from my Android SDK emulator...

Use wifi.

I don't have a cap.

With iCloud, my whole 80+ GB collection of music and movies is with me wherever. Phone storage doesn't matter.

They probably mean the unique user agent that a J2ME browser would send.
Sounds like you never used the Genius bar - 15 min. wait - max...
I worked for an Apple Authorized Service Provider for two years. All replacement parts are sent overnight; that post sounds like a made-up story.

Boycott the companies that stole Apple's IP.

No, it goes like this: Buy Transformer, be disappointed, return it, and buy iPad.
No no, the spyware is already on the phones; you don't have to get it from the store.
Good call. Androids, etc w/4in+ screens look ridiculous.

Agreed. Plus, the one time there was a bug in privacy (location tracking); they fixed it quickly.
