Mod parent up and GP down. Postscript is a turing-complete programming language. It's as far from devoid of code execution features as one can get. One of my favourites is the randomly generated postscript maze. Open it, get a maze, print it on a postscript printer and get a new maze every time.

It would also help grow the number of linux gamers: if someone using linux wants to play Source engine games now they have to use WINE (reports itself as Windows) or use Windows. With Steam+Source on Linux the "anonymous usage statistics" collection would report the computer as being Linux. The downloads of the Linux Steam clients will be reported.

The day they did OMG Ponies was great. All the jokes had a theme (ponies), everything reported on had ponies on it. It was easy to tell what was fake, the site was sparkly pink, and as things got more and more ridiculous through the course of the day it became more and more funny.
The last few years have been far less coherent. They would be better served by posting a few funny joke stories, instead of a deluge of mediocre ones. Brevity being the soul of wit and such. Failing that, come up with a theme. It could be anything. Slashdot: Deodorant edition. Air-freshening heat sinks, mice that clean your hands, etc, etc. It's a theme, and just like the Ponies one it's something most slashdotters have little to no experience with.
