    City dwellers don't see the ISS often,...

    I've not had too much problem viewing the ISS. Trick is knowing where and when to look. Some of the fainter satellites can't be seen though. I guess it all matters on your definition of 'city'.

    Not sure about anytime soon, but seems if they can refine the process, could it lead to better fiber optics?

    A. No one. I'm trying to figure how BC could be Pacific Northwest.
    B. I've seen references to those 3 states being the Pacific NW.
    C. The line between CA and US may be a European line, but it is our border now.

    I could see the use of arms to aid them in staying near the surface, you know, swinging amongst the kelp vines the way Tarzan swung through the jungle?
    Next logical step was use the arms to crawl onto the shore.

    British Columbia is part of the Pacific Northwest.
    Wouldn't AK be closer to the 'pacific northwest', in your line of thought? Wouldn't BC be the west if you ask Canadians?

    Pacific Northwest is more descriptive of WA,OR,ID when in the US context.

    Which ones larger 30M or 100Ft? I don't know. Lets go with the 100Ft, it sounds larger.

    Reminds me of the thread on a.s.r, or a.t-s.r a couple years ago. the poster had gone to .au on vacation, one of the questions the customs official asked "do you have a criminal record?" Guy replied something like:"I didn't think that was a requirement anymore".
