If race is used as a discriminator then it's racist, no? The problem is that agitprop has abused the term to the point where it has negative connotations. It shouldn't have them.

Sure, just like christianity makes total sense if you believe that god exists and the bible is his inerrant word. Just because tripe like that was taught as 'education' for centuries doesn't make it correct. The same applies to your progressive claptrap being taught as 'education' at the local university. If anything, this proves the dominance left wing social engineering has on the media, education, and government policy, today. Now, it's your protected castes that have 'power and privilege'. White males aren't allowed to criticize anything anymore. When they do, they're universally demonized, shitcanned from their jobs, and their accomplishments nullified. Meanwhile, while we squabble, the ruling elites laugh as they tread on our liberty. There's nothing equitable in that.

You lefties love to abuse words like 'reactionary' and 'problematic' don't you? You love twisting yourselves into knots trying to simultaneously fight against oppression for some while imposing it on others. My favorite is 'argument from privilege'. The more supposed 'privilege' someone has, the less valid their arguments they might make against the inequities you want to impose on them under the guise of 'equality'.

Not $600. $600 in perpetuity or until they decide to up the license fee. Why do you have this slavish devotion to giving up control of access to things you depend on, and for what? Illusory short-term convenience of always having the latest (possibly buggy or purposely castrated) version? It's a sad state of affairs. If illustrator 7 does what is needed, then why not? If it doesn't, then you've got a point, and maybe it's time to upgrade. At least I'd have a choice instead of paying out for endless treadmills whether it's needed or not. As far as piracy goes, this scheme doesn't prevent it at all. It only rips off legit customers.

Actually, I'd welcome a return to win2k GUI widgets. They lag less and miss less input than the latest garbage in use today, but that's an entirely different issue.

Right, of course not. They're all wonderful 'liberal', and 'democratic' societies. They didn't just come up with new names for the old ideology, right? It's sad that europeans are quick to judge americans as 'sheeple' while their criticisms make it obvious they're busily consuming their own governments' propaganda in the same way.

Hey genius, who pays for your military ? Police forces ? Ambulances ?

We do. We pay for our own oppression while the state slowly unravels the protections that limit its ability to abuse those forces. Until obamacare, ambulances were private. Now they're a tiny fraction of the ever growing bureaucracy that costs taxpayers more and more money each year. Such 'progress.'
