This keyboard looks okay, but I don't think it would work for me in daily use. It just seems to awkward. I persoanlly use my left thumb to do the space bar, and I think I'd be deleting a lot of letters.
We really need a two button trackpad mod. I've seen the underside of the trackpad button in my iBook (clamshell) and it looks pretty easy to mod. The cable comes out easily and the button shouldn't be too hard to put a two button version in there.
I suspect that Apple did the AppleScript update first, and then under pressure from the recording companies that so graciously allowed the lame DRM that iTunes had, they stopped the WAN sharing. But honestly, how long could that last? At least they still let you do LAN sharing, which if you're at an office or something like that could be quite nice.
Shared office music library. Push your copanies T3 line to the max.
This sounds like a really great experiment to test way out there theories, but say he's wrong and black holes don't evaporate and it sucks the whole planet in killing us all?
That would suck. (pun intended)
I'm kind of saddened to hear that this company is going out of buisness. It's where I got this iBook from, and it still works great. It's kind of annoying that Apple does things like this even though they don't gain that much out of it.
It's really hard to tell which one is the Joke. I'd say the McDonalds one is, but they've gone for much more obscene things. I'd say the XBox controller thing because there's no way to connect the propreitary port to the mac, but people have done more useless things, such as put Linux on an iPod. (Sorry/.ers, but it doesn't help you that much unless you desperately need to play ogg files.)
In the end, I think I'll go with the XBox Controller thing. MacAlley makes this great USB gamepad that looks exactly like a PS2 DualShock controller, rumble, analog sticks, X, O, Square, and Triangle. Useful thing for a PS emulator. XBox controller, because it sucks and if you're going to do that, do it with a GC or PS2 controller, not that terrible piece of molded plastic.
This is slightly off-topic and It's probably unbeliveably hard, but would it be possible to have dual GPU graphics cards? I'm not quite sure how it would work, but for really demanding things, such as Doom III is definitely going to be, this would be a big boon with one processor maybe doing the actual rendering, while the other one textures and anit-aliases. Dunno, I'm just thinking up random stuff now.
It's bad to talk to yourself. Maybe try being funny next time, instead of posting an off-topic troll. I mean, this has NOTHING to do with Apple, this is about self-destructing DVD's.
Well yes you can do this, but for the average user this is quite a lot to do just to add your CD drive, and it may not always work. It's another one of those things that Apple has made harder than it should be.
Commercial sites tend not to get slashdotted, it's only poor people who post personal things on the web on their measly little account designed just for a couple of friends.
It's not that I like the French that much, it's just that you seem to be a member of a certain southern group of people that were dropped as children, the KKK.
I know you're just trolling, but don't you have anything better to do than act like a complete ass on the internet? Annonymous Coward indeed.
Using just off-the-shelf stuff, that's really amazing. I wish I could be that good with Bryce =/.
It looks like the storyline could be equally amazing, but I'm wondering if there will also be an english release around the same time. It looks that way from the site, but I hope to see this in a theater near me.
Nice to see what's inside those. I was kind of expecting to see just a standard WiFi card in there, in the original base station, exactly like the one he had pictured for comparison, it was actually just a Lucent PCMCIA card. Apple likes to use the least weird parts, a nice break from the proprieatary RAM that they used to use.
Maybe this explains what those talks with AMD were as well, just discussing AE design? Most likely. Maybe some HyperTransport in there, but definitely nothing about x86. I hope this little science experiment showed that to you crazies.
Okay, so disc burning from the finder is nice, right? It's easy to do, and it doesn't take over your computer while you do it, and it's just nice not to have to use another program. Same with iTunes, great to be able to burn in your playlist order and all that.
The only problem is that to do this, you need to have a supported drive. Huge bummer. They hardly ever add more compatible drives to the list.
My only question is, why don't they go the normal route and allow companies to make drivers for the finder/iTunes so they can use their drives? This would make it easier for Apple for one, and I'll bet a lot more drives would become supported. It just seems like they're doing this wayy too closed.
Just a rant from someone with an unsupported drive (gotta use Toast...)

Does nobody get the joke? Grand theft auto? Felony? C'mon.
If they ever get away with this, Grand Theft Auto will be considered a felony.
I could've sworn it was the Spinning Beach Ball of Doom.
Maybe this year they'll have a little beachball spinning on the entrance, just to make sure you know that you're waiting in line.

You're just mad because you're completely useless troll got turned into a pro-mac joke. I'm just going to sit here and laugh at you.
Howabout a nice cup of shut the fuck up

*crams a black dildo up this annonymous cowards already distended ass* No problem. Did I mention that it's explosive? *bam* guess not.
Thanks for telling me everything I already knew, I really needed to know that.
The Irony is overwhelming, yes I know.
Slashdotted is when the server actually goes down and you can't access anything, on this one, it's still quite viewable.
what I was trying to say is that I don't think I could do a single fram of that in Bryce.
