Id rather have an educated user, a person of intelligence that can make intelligent decisions.

Ideally and educated and knowledgable user would and could make intelligent descisions. Not individuals for whom like you, frob your way through life in front of a Windows box, unawares as to half of whats going on.

Dont put the dependence on you, the End user to take responsiblity for your actions....no, Lets make MS responsible , its MS's fault that my machine does this, and my machine does that.

Hmmmm...this is a largely unfounded claim. Let us go down the line here.

Commercial systems require their customers to depend on their companies for technical support. If there is a problem, users must often wait on hold (while paying for a toll call). Who in their right mind calls Microsoft anyway? While decentralized, it is often easier to get help with problems in Linux, because of a large community of developers and sysadmins that exist on any level, novice or veteran. As well as numerous At Cost Distros that actually give you support if you pay them for it -- Xandros, Linare, Redhat, Mandriva, and Suse/NLD. Ubuntu, rare in its form, offers support for a nominal fee per system.

So the claim that RTFM and Forums are the only support structures available is Farkian Dumbass and Farkian Asinine. Clearly the words of an uneducated individual.

And Honestly, using Messy SQL, Im forced to support this monumental peice of crap at my current place of business. MessySQL has nothing on Oracle, Sybase, MySQL, or PostGRESQL. It Truely is a POS (thats not Point of Service either).

It is because of this stupidity that sites like rinkworks computer stupidities is popular ( http://rinkworks.com/stupid/ ). The problem being of course that I would not be surprised if M$ doesnt foster this kind of low grade intelligence to make its products sell better. The issue being of course that are the individuals in group A (where A = gays, minorities, and those of non standard religious ethic) larger or smaller than group B ( stupid and ignorant individuals incapable of thinking with a broad mind, more of a narrow one that would be narrower than say that of a laser width or less).

Anyway, to get to the end of the rabble, the comment was largely pointed at the uneducated over the minority. I find that the latter is far more acceptable to me, than its predecessor.
