The U.S. basically hung Israel out to dry on several occasions, and time and time again whenever Israel and the Arab countries got into a spat, if Israel started to win, the Arabs would go back to the Soviets and the Soviets would get the U.N. to declare a cease-fire, and the U.S. would never object.
Hung out to dry? I suggest you look at the US veto record on the security council.
I'm just dealing with a bug introduced in IE7. This bug makes my life harder as a web programmer, along with all the other quirks and inconsistencies in IE. So yeah, why they hell would anyone require IE?
At ASP.Net 1.1, if you build using most of the ASP.Net controls you will end up with a non-standards compliant site. With ASP, you have to work harder to do that.
The caption at the top of the page says: Ed Lazowska and his colleagues at the University of Washington created a Web page to demonstrate to prospective students "the broad range of interesting fields."
Good to see the high standards of CS aren't being lowered. It might be the reporter dumbing things down.
Here in Australia (Sydney) it's the same. I have a friend who works at EB in a large shopping center. I asked him the other day if they had any Wiis in stock. "One but not for long"
I've read ChickenHawk. In that he describes "chopping" his way out of jungle clearings using the rotors on a huey. So rotors can certainly take some damage. However it is still a relative weak point (weaker relative to other parts).
You do not have to kill a single innocent soul in whole Liberty City. Heck, as a matter of fact you can go play a taxi driver, or put out fires, or even rescue people with an ambulance. Heck, I remember someone posting on slashdot that his young daughter loved playing GTA3... as a taxi driver.
Nothing is mandatory in GTA, everything is voluntary.
However I think that for most people, the aim is to complete the game. Why would we be judging the game by looking at people who play the game in an unusual way?
Excellent. So have I. Have you ever done that outside a corporate environment? In many ways that is another form of controlled environment.
The point is every desktop has Java on it. Far fewer desktops have the.Net framework on them. Microsoft has done a poor job of distributing the.Net framework. If the framework was aimed at replacing the Win32 API it should have been a mandatory upgrade.
Microsoft never made any real effort to try to distribute the.Net framework. ATI did a better job of distributing it by requiring it with their control panel. Hence, there is no incentive to develop a.Net app unless you control the machine, ie a server.
My mother is still running on 98. This machine is from 1998:), PII 350. Now it isn't the exact same machine (2 PSU changes, more RAM, 2 gfx card changes, bigger HD, new peripherals), but it runs very well. Part of the reason it is still running is because she has me around to keep it running. It has now reached the point where literally any second hand machine I can buy has higher specs.
It matches my mother's needs just fine, largely word, browsing the web and email. In addition it boots faster than any windows machine I have ever owned.
If you run an open AP, (I actually have a MAC whitelist, but anyway)
So you don't run an open AP. Duh.
The point is running an Open AP is a stupid thing to do, unless you really know what you are doing. And by that I mean firewall it off from the rest of your network, and provide a VPN gateway to the rest of the network.
Don't complain about our steak. My uncle grows prime Angus and it is clearly the best steak available anywhere.
Yeah. Except for DNS, but nobody needs that.
Wait...
Aussies are tough. We don't make very good steak.
The irony is that FDR worked to combat the fear, GWB works to increase it. Great leadership there.
Oh really? You don't know what you are talking about.
IIS is great until you move just a little off the beaten path. Apache is *way* more flexible.

Oh really?.
So no form, input, select, option, table....
Our approach has been to roll our own controls where needed. Most of the ASP.net controls are pretty bloated as it is.
Isn't it just easier to use flashblock?

The real problem in Iraq is a failure of intelligence.
That is a symptom of your real problem. Your real problem is that the people you are trying to "save" don't like you.

And because efficiently fitting square furniture into a round room is a bitch.
And tetrahedron rooms aren't much better.
Don't forget Tim is also one of the creators of the phrase Web 2.0 (as well as being one of its strongest supporters). That makes him an idiot too.
almost survive being washed
How does that work? You push the button and you feel it is trying to turn on? Either they survive or they don't.

That said the situation has improved over time.

Totally agree.

That is what you get for using Telstra.
Oblig quote:

>FreeFrag< Thats why I recommend Telstra ADSL.
