I'm an avid Nethack player, and I tried Falcon's Eye for the first time recently.
I could barely work out how to move. The isometric layout is HORRIBLE. I couldn't even get through doors.
When somebody decides that they need not-particularly-pretty raytraced graphics to make up for what their imagination can't deal with, it's time that they tried reading a book. One without pictures.
So, all of this anti-Linux propaganda that Microsoft were printing as advertisements in German magazines (as far as I remember) which stated that Linux was dangerous and insecure due to open source......Microsoft is going to pretend that they never said any of that? Obviously opening part of their sources to certain bodies isn't the same as true open source, but clearly they're beginning to encourage that sort of thing a little more from now on. Maybe Bill Gates shouldn't spend so much time shitting on a rock that he's about to sit on.
Yeah, because the inability to understand dry humour and getting upset about something which isn't an attack on your country but a criticism of something which happens there is a perfect excuse to be a racist! In case you're as simple as you sound, THE PREVIOUS SENTENCE WAS SARCASM.

Here's some news for you: LINUX DOES NOT HAVE A GUI. Any Linux GUI is just a damn program accessing the graphic card's framebuffer as a user program. Again, NO WINDOWING SYSTEM IS PART OF LINUX. If you want plasmoid-circles, bloaty buttons, extensively large apps just for the sake of being different and having a pretty desktop, then by all means WRITE IT. Just stop bitching about stuff which any computer enthusiast who can think for his or her self has already dealt with.
If you want to campaign for the good of Linux, try standing up for small, efficient utilities, stand against the upsizing of code bases just to support the coder's favourite GUI toolkit, or just concentrate on standing on your own two feet. I'm sorry for all of the anger, but when will people learn that media views and opinions really have no place in the progression of an operating system? If I find that I can't run an essential utility because it's been 'upgraded' to use some toolkit which I don't want to install, I'm going to be really pissed off.
