    if everybody used authentication (that worked), then spammers know they wouldn't be able to send any spam. then spam would stop.

    You'd have to read and understand all the code, and then compile from that code. Something I am willing to bet very, very, few people do for every piece of software they run. but i suppose a government could allocate people for that purpose

    (They did this in New York once, with the aforementioned E-Z-Pass system--proved that a person HAD entered the city at a time when they claimed they hadn't).
    this is very odd. the E-Z-Pass cannot be shared? couldn't he have said someone borrowed/ stole it?
    we have this pass thing here, but can use cash to add value to the card, besides linking it to our bank accounts.

    is it really easier to support IE? my cousin got infected by one of those sites that take over your browser and block regedit. i ended up formatting (due to other problems as well). although admittedly it was probably IE5. what happens with mozilla?

    sadly, a site that i had to whitelist to use also has other annoying popups (but that's just one site)

    mine worked intermittenly, cos it was filthy rubbing the chip thing mostly always helps
