run deep. Can't wait to what Novell does after they've gathered all of this knowledge and all of these developers to their helm.
Maybe offer an Open Source replacement for Active Directory?
"There are operators on [major IRC network] who dedicate a large part of their time to finding and deleting these drones and drone servers, along with contacting providers whose machines are putting out the binaries. It should be noted however that this activity is ILLEGAL and viewed by the authorities as a violation of computer crimes laws. As a rule of thumb, unless you have paperwork from a judge saying you can touch a compromised machine, or you own the machine in question, don't touch it."
So that means you can't even touch your own compromised box? You can at least kill the connectivity legally, right?
I know it's already being attempted but Linuquestions has the benefit of thousands of visitors a day that are constantly learning and you can actually _watch_ their learning process through the posts. And when they want to give something back...Viola, this new Wiki!
I know, now I'm getting modded to hell and back for trying to bring this to his attention the way he's stated publicly that he prefers.
Teaches me a lesson
I emailed you about this but you need to fix that link right there on the front page.
You know, this one
Also, SCO has A HREF="http://www.infoworld.com/article/04/03/04/HN cascolicensee_1.html">announced a few new licensees including Computer Associates.
Maybe like this: Also, SCO has announced a few new licensees including Computer Associates.
Darl mentioned that "last summer" some Linux programmers admitted there was some stolen code in the kernel.
A really sharp female journalist from CRN asked what code was stolen and who these programmers were. Darl got tongue tied and someobdy else from SCO stepped in and said they couldn't comment on that.
I know, I know, but I have karma to burn. I think all of my submissions are rejected because of my opinion of Michael but oh well. I may subscribe once he leaves.
This is the second announcement about an upcoming announcement today by SCO, right?
Meanwhile PJ at Groklaw is busy tearing them a new one over mentioning her in one of their propaganda blasts. Good reading. Hate to have her as one of my enemies.
presentations and little else but maybe I'm missing something.
Now this seems better for you. Anybody owners care to comment on it? Not much info on Mac/Linux compatibility on the site. I note you have to _buy_ a driver for full compatibiliy on a Mac?! What kind of company advertises that?
You're right but have you tried 3.2? Those issues are still there but certainly have been lessened a bit. Also, the speed, man:) Much faster than Gnome but still can't hold a candle to good old Fluxbox.

That's a bit much,IMHO. Sounds like the Sheriff walked out as soon he heard that attempted fee. Don't blame him
What are you talking about?
Ask that using your real name.
Gee, that's funny. 2003 runs great at native resolution on my G4 Powerbook.
Not as small as you think. Mac users don't have to upgrade every 18 month.
With a demo already out, it looks like MacSoft will have this out for OS X almost at the same time as the PC version. Sweet.

Umm, I wasn't trolling. I thought the reference to Richard Nixon's enemy's list was funny.
I doubt the XFree86 Project is high on Microsoft's enemy's list. No conspiracy here, move along.
SCO's conference call, Click
How is this much better than a 15.2 or 17 inch Powerbook?
Missed that, eating humble pie now. Howev er it wasn't on there when I submitted.

Umm, when is Slashdot going to post something about SCO suing DaimlerChrysler? I submitted it over 2 hrs ago but sigh...
I don't think a lawyer even wrote that letter. I jsut kep seeing "you need to correct" over and over again.

Weren't they just emulating CDE at that time?
