  1. AG freakin blow on Penny Arcade vs. American Greetings · · Score: 1

the last lawsuit this woman was involved with was over the internet adress popples.com apparently the objective of this company is to own all rights to 80's swag they can get their greedy little paws on. I'm better off without their crap anyway

  2. petition on Penny Arcade vs. American Greetings · · Score: 1

BTW the petition was approchaing 8000 sigs when i checked a few mins ago

  3. Re:Hydrogen isn't ready... check out hybrids on Increasing Fuel Mileage With Hydrogen? · · Score: 1

Diesels DO get great mileage, but have a horrific emissions problems - everyone has been behind a pretty, old Mercedes coupe to just get choked by the fumes as it pulls away from the light.

thats kind of true. you see diesel engines do seem to pollute more when you smell them but the thing is there are less greenhouss gasses and harmful emessions, there is just a whole lot more soot. they have made vast progress in cutting down this soot leaving cleaner and more efficent engines

  4. but on The Demise of Model Rocketry? · · Score: 1

... if you outlaw model rockets, then only outlaws will have model rockets *fear*

  5. of course it can only help on Don't Sever A High-Tech Lifeline for Musicians · · Score: 1

free advertisement of your music... how can this hurt?... you know most people download songs they never planed on buying, and most of my friends at least support the few surviving bands they appreciate with cd purchases (they perfer the higher quality on the good stuff) record companies blamed rampant "taping" for sale declines in the 80's... turned out once music got out of the rut it was in sales went back up... without any measures to prevent further taping

  6. filesharing a lot like the 80's on Recording Industry Extinction Predicted RSN · · Score: 1

this is slightly off topic... but i seem to remember in the 80's recording companies saying that kids taping songs off the radio was killing them. sales were down... then they figured it out... most music in the 80's sucked (the cure and bowie rock).. thats why noone was willing to shell out for it... in the 90's music changed and noone bitched... the scene is stagnent again... record companies won't give you a shot unless you sell out on their tried and true path... and we are stuck in that same rut... of course i'm not buying cd's.. they all suck... but damn strait i will download the one song i like off a cd that i NEVER would have bought anyway... don't call that a "loss" you never woulda got that money. the only musicians this affects anyway are the filthy stinkin rich ones... any real musician is so exstatic that his music is being spread about they would take the free advertisment and beg for more. now what was the point of this.... oh ya... DIE RIAA. die a horrible screaming death.... thank you for enduring my rant.

  7. what the heck is up with prequals on Nintendo Confirms New Console In 2005 · · Score: 1

are people just so against chronology they can't make sequals anymore?.. and i seem to remember someone telling me that metroid prime took place directly after the original metroid... wouldn't that mean they're is already a prequal... or better yet metroid prime is a freakin sequal? i just don't understand why we gotta play games in reverse order these days i feel like i'm watching momento (good movie) maybye i am the only guy who after finding a good deal on a game has to go and find all the earlier games before i will even open the new one but still some people have to miss chronology in games prequals don't gimmie that epic continuance feeling sequals get... ok so maybye i am alond here

  8. Re:Some Points on Effectiveness on Michelin to Include RFID Transmitter in Every Tire · · Score: 1

a news article i read about rfid's in clothing claimed they killed them upon leaving the store not that i trust them so much but at least with clothing all they can really tell what brand a shirt is anyway. now the car tires could be more of a problem i guess being linked to your vin number and being more easily checked automaticly than a licence plate leveing more room for unwanted automated advertising and such. so all in all its not too bad considering you already have an easily dercernable link to your vin number in your licence plate this just can do it with an automated and probobly annoying system

  9. Re:New Technology Apprehensions... on Segway Banned In San Francisco · · Score: 1

So why don't they ban cars in San Francisco, too? Jello Biafridi (ya its probobly mispelled) of dead kennedies fame ran for office in SF once as sort of a prank. his platform included such things legalizing squatting in buildings left vacant for tax write-off purpouses and banning cars from the city limits.

  10. Re:I still don't get it. on Segway Banned In San Francisco · · Score: 1

its simple, its one more excuse for fat lazy americans to waste perfectly good money on somthing thats sole purpouse is needlessly preventing excercise from tainting our "soft and cuddly" bodies with that undesirable tough "muscle"
