Im running in a nextel i1000+ you know, the big bulky black thing with the 5 line monochrome LCD screen. Since it works and my company pays for it, I cant justify getting something new.
I should just snap the damn thing in half and say "it fell".:(
I didn't put that link in my original submission. I was considering amazon, but the session ID's in the URL were too cumbersome... which is why I wrote "where ever you want" with no link!
You should be more careful with who uses your computer. If the service is purchased by you, you are the responsible party. If you can prove that it was someone else (I'd like to see you try) then you get your "Get out of jail" card.
Here's my question...
Would we be so protective of these people rights if the violators in question were spammers or worse virus writers? Recently I had the thought of some ideas to help alleviate the spam burden, including stiffer penalties and easier reporting methods. But determining your suspect could be blocked by litigation like this. Although the majority of Slashdot readers feel that file trading is mostly a victimless crime and should go unpunished, this may lead to difficulties in prosecuting people who most Slashdotters feel deserve the guillotine.
I hope the FBI doesn't investigate SBC and get the IRS involved who finds out that the AWOL CEO needs to be investigated by the DEA for wierd connections with the NRA....need I go on.
I work for a company that specializes in corporate hiring products, we advise our clients to be very careful about the word "applicant". The laws mentioned here spcifically refer to "applicants", if you use a pre-screening tool to weed out unqualified people, then you do not have to keep their information. If the person passes the pre-screen, then they move on to "applicant" status. You can specify that all employment requests must go through your pre-screening process and refuse to accept any unsolicited "applicants". It is an issue of semantics, but an important one.
I tell ye, The 3XX series had the same problems. The mroe times you replaced the battery the less life the had. I had 3 380's plugged in 100% of the time.
This would be useful for situations where a screw is used for varible tensioning, like tuning on a guitar. Especially in a hostile environment.

So do the missiles launch today?
this occurs almost ten years to the day that I said to a friend "A GIGABYTE? Who could ever use that much space?"!
I know for a fact that many states allow the question "Would you rehire this person?" The only acceptable answers being "yes" or "no".
