I am still in high school and I have seen some of the worst use of powerpoint possible. Many people just ype a report onto PowerPoint and then read it. Pretty much everbody uses unreadable fonts. I'ts unbelievable.
The N64 controller did not suck. I loved that controller. The only controller that was ever better then that one was dreamcast and it is just barely better. Shame on you.
Why do we bother with such poinless things like this. The thing that needs to be invented is an outdoor couch. This could be made out of the same material as stain proof pants. I think that this advances in this material will amke this possible.
Want to Drag and drop files from your digital camera to your freinds computer via ssh? Nope, nautilus won't let you do that because that would be "too compex". So you would have to do cut&paste your files to a tempory folder, then open a terminal and do a scp *.jpg. So instead of that I open Konqueror window and do it.
Thats is me my friend. Unless anyone wants to donate an Amiga to me I'll still be caddying. Its the 12-16 year old nerds who would probably win this if they had Amigas. They have the most time on thier hands and can just sit on the computer all day and code.
I love gentoo but some of the reason that you guys have for liking it are just wrong. If you know how to use red hat or mandrake you do not have to have dependency hell or a slow system. If you install apt-get for rpm then you can just type apt-get install blah to install the package and all of its dependencies. How hard is that. Also, just becasue RedHat ships with KDE and GNOME it doesnt mean that you have to use them. It takes almost no thought to type apt-get wmaker and then add a Windowmaker script to/etc/X11/gdm/Sessions. I'm typing this on a RedHat 9 system with windomaker on galeon. You Gentoo people should know espessially, the base installation isn't everything. None of which shipped with redhat. So stop being idiots.
This is pretty unrelated to this article but oh well. I was thinking, there should be a software liscence like music is. When someone preforms a song, you have the source to that song. You can figure out the notes and the words. However, you cant just go out and make money by stealing the words or music. This is how it should be with software. You should be able to have the source, and mess around with it but you shouldnt be able to sell it or give it back to the community or anything. You should be able to modify and patch the source howeever you want to. Just like you can with music.
Its all a matter of prefernece. Some people like to use the keyboard some people like the mouse. I like the keyboard and I use ratpoison as my windowmanager but it is just my opinion. But the more options the better, thats why linux is so good, you can have different file systems, different windowmanagers, even different distroubtions.
http://www.freebsd.org/releases/5.0R/announce.htmlIt is my privilege and pleasure to announce the availability of FreeBSD 5.0-RELEASE. The culmination of nearly three years of work, this release starts FreeBSD on the path of advanced multiprocessor and application thread support and introduces support for the sparc64 and ia64 platforms.
it is released
Now all they need is a plasma gun and ill join the navy!

The Christmas Story Rocks asshole. But agreed on Blink182. But as the Christmas story goes, you can just watch it on TBS a bunch of times.

I love FreeBSD but I still can't use it on my main PC because I can't get printing to work. AHHHHH
And her mom is probably the one that registered Kazaa.
I highly doubt that the girls mom signed up for kazaa or even knew that she downloaded it.

Pretty Slick. I have like fifty of these things laying around.
Maybe websites will stop using frames now. Then I would be able to use dillo all the time.
I just downloaded it and I got backyard baseball to work. That is the the greatest.
I dont't think that Gentoo ports are better than BSD ports. There is things that are good about each of them.
GENTOO
1. emerge sync is easier than cvsup
2. emerge -u world (is there an equivilant for BSD?)
3. Uses bzip instead of gzip for its distfiles
BSD
1. core system not in ports but in another collection that can be upgraded in only a few commands
2. pkg_info
If only one the one in BSD had all the features i want than life would be perfect.
I really need to get a new computer. The XScale prossesor in thr Tungsten C is twice as fast as the Cyrix 6x86MX in my computer!!!
I want too see little nuclear reacters in mobile devices. then you would never have to replace it.

I think it should be targeted more towards Joe Keg.
I've compiled XFree86 on my K6-2/300 a couple of years ago
Ive tried it a few days ago. IT was nothing compared to open ofice which took at least a week. Too bad there are almost no binarries for FreeBSD.
