My solar-powered, WWV-listening Casio analog/digital watch has been running for eight years and these days remains on an always-shaded windowsill for a week or two at a time.
While a body heat-powered watch is nifty, mine is niftier.
Regardless of the hyperbole, as has been argued elsewhere in the thread, if they have money to spend on lobbying in order to entrench their strong positions, then there isn't enough competition.
Superior service and lower cost are why I went with Ting. Leaving VM was a big hassle, too, as they didn't appear to have their people (few of whom were anywhere near my time zone) trained properly.
Still with Ting, who doesn't care which device I use.

The problem is when that religion requires non-adherents to change _their_ behavior.
A big problem.
Do you agree?
Why can't people be themselves or make their own healthcare decisions without being labeled a part of "progressive lunacy"?
To borrow a quote, if a religion requires others in public to change their behavior, then that religion is broken.
Checkout at Aldi is a breeze. The checkers are lightning fast.
There's no need for self checkout, or machine vision, or any other bells or whistles.

What's to hate?
Solaria, not Aurora?
Yes to the S3. Bought it two years ago, when it was about three years old. Have been running CyanogenMod 12 (Lollipop), then LineageOS 14.1 (Nougat).
It runs fine and is up-to-date with a week-old build.
If someone made a solid Android build for a Windows phone, I'd at least consider it for a backup.
My Touchpad runs KitKat. . . .
Plus all the TV shows they did, over the past seven decades or so.
But better if they'd just make a new deal with Netflix.
I don't see paying for yet another streaming service.
What did the feds say when you brought this to their attention?
I've been running it since the repositories were available, as a direct changeout from Debian via sources.list. It's stable and maintained well.

AC is not worthy of any more attention.
Will the roofs have diving boards?
Since I try to control my phone (Android running Cyanogenmod), they didn't want my business, making it impossible to play even with sideloading.
Didn't feel like jumping through hoops to hide root.
Their loss is greater than mine.

But of course OneDrive can't use rsync, because it wasn't invented here.
Oceania is at war with Eastasia. . . .
. . . and I won't go back.

Irvin Kershner. Who is coincidentally not George Lucas.
Screenplay by Lawrence Kasdan and Leigh Brackett. Also coincidentally not George Lucas.
Too bad Leigh Bracket died. She could have made episodes 6 & 1-3 better.
And the Star Wars coming out from Disney are better than anything Lucas ever did.
I take it you haven't seen The Empire Strikes Back.
If it comes from J.J. Abrams, give it the hairy eyeball.
That's why they should be using the 16550A.

If you mean Esperanto, then yes. It would be a better choice than French for ease of learning, especially when it comes to pronunciation.
