So SUSE is going to configure wine for the distibution so that people that can't figure wine out can still run the m$ product? Personally I am very happy with OpenOffice.
probably because the average computer user with some sense of programming can figure out php. Now, try to get the average computer users (non-unix) to spell PERL and then figure out that 'hello world' is more than just "echo 'hello world';"
PERL is a POWERFUL language, but a person with a "learn PHP is 24 hours" book can do it and they can write applications that work (may not be 100% secure). But people with a "learn PERL in 24 hours" can't figure out how to do a chmod to the file in order to get apache to run it.
in simple, PERL is too complicated for the average person, maybe Yahoo! needs something that anyone can figure out:) or maybe it has something to do with their new web hosting thing. who knows..
I would just thank him for giving me my modem and show him the door. If he doesn't like it he can call his manager and complain:)
I NEVER let anyone install any software on my company computers or my home computers that deal with broadband. Next thing you know you'll have spy wear and you can't remove it.
Good question.. what exactly will they sell.. We use dell here in our office and we have had a good experiance. I'm not sure I would buy all of my parts from dell (i.e. printer and pda), but if dell started selling PDAs, for us big customers we can maybe get the sales person to give us a free PDA after we make large orders.. I love sales people that send me free stuff!

There is always the Politically Correct Star Trek Enterprise... But damn, she does have nice hooters!!!!! whoot whoot!!!
so if it supports everything why call it "gaim".. that makes me think it's GNU Aol Instant Messenger. Is that not correct?
