I use Adium www.adiumx.com and those were not auto added, nor have I herd of anything about it.
I'm sure that 3rd party programs such as Adium, Gaim and such don't have these issues as they are not directly connected with AOL.
Adium FTW!!!
to me it looks like another way that Microsoft has used the laws of patents to gain profits off the coattails of another companies hard work....
the only way Microsoft can take "credit" for some sort of good product.....
such a shame.
I have had interferance with a phone to phone, but i have two wireless phones in my house, a cell phone, plus an airport wireless network, and have not had any problems between the phones and the connection of any devices to the wireless hub
users actually cancel Windows auto updates when they become available because they think they're viruses attacking their computer...
well wouldn't it make more sense to just make it more OBVIOUS to the user that it is an update and not a virus, if people are thinking that the auto updater is a virus, then Microsoft is doing something wrong with their auto update by misleading people.........
I understand that they need programmers to produce the products, and programming for a Linux is different from a windows and different from a Mac, but why in most cases do macs get ditched and left in the dust, how many times have macs been overlooked until months after the program was released for windows etc etc....
companies should look out for all their customers and users, not just one type of user
"As for the Apple connection, Schwartz said that the practically every Sun employee owns an Apple desktop at home. "We would love to partner with Apple,' he said. "They're everyone's favorite company, and iTunes is really cool." " quote from the Sun Article...
iCal is great if you have a t68i Sony Ericsson phone, and use the bluetooth to sync the devices using isync (i know that isync is in beta) but its worth the risk when you have tons of appointments to remember, and tryin to enter them into your phone calandar.... for example to get letter "c" hit the number 1 key 3 times etc etc.... take forever
And now with this new site, i can even have my phone remind me when star trek enterprise is going to show!! (Found under the "New Calendar Section on the iCal page)
I am excited this is the Tenth movie that is in the Star Trek line of movies, and it is with the old crew of TNG, which i feel was the best series (others may argue) Agreed I hate trailers that ruin the movie, so i will stay away as well.
I will definetly be at the opening night showing!

"It's damned useful if explorer has crashed..." Now why did explorer have to crash, if the OS was stable that should not have happen
