In the Netherlands there are already paid subscribtions for online content of newspapers. For instance the Volkskrant offers a subscription for receiving the paper newspaper only on saturday and on weekdays you can watch the articles online.
But how can you check commercial software for open-source code used in it. Don't you need the source code of that software to search in. I don't think they will give you their code to do that.

Here you can search for copies of the book www.worldcatlibraries.org. A lot in New York, even in public libraries. The New York Public Library has 2 copies of the book.
I made an appointment in my agenda to travel back to may 7 2005, but the problem is that my agenda in my Palm doesn't go any further than december 31 2031. So I hope that time travel is invented by then.
To give some more insight in the Dutch law. Downloading a movie or music and burning it on a cd or dvd is legal (you payed the taxes when buying the cd) as long as it is for your personal use. So you can use kazaa to download stuff (only movies and music, this doesn't apply for software) and burn it and it's legal. You are not allowed to share anything.
