Seriously, Microsoft's patent portfolio is not that small. I really doubt that Free Software applications only infringe 235 of it's patents. And Microsoft also infringes patents owned my Free Software companies and advocates. What else is new? The patent system is flawed and everyone know it - they just pretend not to.
Pointy-Haired Boss: "Alice, I notice that you always click something when I approach. Obviously you've been using company time to look at indescribably filthy images."
Alice: "And why does that seem so obvious to you?"
Pointy-Haired Boss: "Let's leave me out of this."
People actually don't care what they're using, if it gets the job done. The problem with installing Mozilla Firefox, VLC, Winamp, etc., it that, if they'll have to format their PC again, they will not bother to reinstall all that software again, unless someone will do it for them. They just don't care.
It's FreeISO, you insensitive clod.

Just don't forget to buy another Windows license, if you plan to use this on another computer.
Damn kids with their non-commercial file sharing and anti-DRM legislation.
And will the developers move to Outer Elbonia too? I doub it. It's very hard to live in a mud country with computers made of cardboard.

Yeah, I have one of those old AMD cards. It was called Sound Blaster Live!.
How about not using languages that allow buffer overflows?

Try Nvu, it's good enough.
Probably they'll just stick a Bacterial DVD on it.
Maybe they're just bad drivers.
Know how to install Linux-from-scratch without looking at the documentation.
... because it doesn't allow loading of non GPL binary drivers.
Seriously.
We already have it. Check out GoboLinux.
Try Alexandria, a free (as in speech) book managing application. Screenshot here.
Yes, GNOME 2.14 will be in both Fedora Core 5 and Ubuntu 6.04 aka Dapper Drake.
