    I had to wait until a 12:55 am showing to see the Matrix...and THAT sold out a few minutes after I got my ticket (about 9:45 pm).

    So you know Episode I's gonna be hell for at least the first 2 weeks.

    If it *was* a mechanical malfunction, then the plane should have been grounded. Discounting pilot error (and I'm sure that they don't send newbie pilots up in stealth planes), theonly logical conclusion is that they were shot down (although I'm willing to concede it was a lucky hit..send up enough anti-aircraft rounds and you're bound to hit *something*).

    How else do you explain the fact that a $45 million "stealth" fighter gets shot down (most lilkely by an alert SAM operator)? Never underestimate the skill of your opponent.

    Netscape pretty much introduced me to the real Internet...been using it since 1.22 (even tho it was also responsible for introducing me to massive amounts of alcohol...one can only take a finite amount of "I can't get onto my Netscape" when you work tech support at an ISPwhile sober).

    It's precisely this type of thinking that shows why:

    1. Racism is alive an well in America
    2. Affirmative action is still needed


    If EVERY employer said "Let's just hire white Caucasians", if EVERY school said "Let's only accept white Caucasians", this country will waste a LOT of potential talent in all fields. Most minorites aren't looking for a handout, all we want is a fair chance.

Not only am I formatting my ext2 partitions and installing Win2000(tm) and Office2000 (tm), I'm going to subscribe to both AOL(tm) (which Al Gore invented, since AOL(tm) is the Internet(tm)) AND MSN(tm) (since Bill Gates also invented the Internet(tm), modern operating systems, the PC (tm), the World Wide Web(tm) and modern civilization).

    I think it's situational in most cases...my real-life friends are/were mostly assholes (with the exception of former co-workers). I think my people skills have deteriorated somewhat (they weren't all that good to begin with). I think I'll start interacting more after I get used to having a job again (btw julie, that *may* be why you haven't seen me online much...being an NT whore takes a lot out of me :)).
