Not in the slightest. I actually do own 2 Apple TV 2's, but they're jailbroken running XBMC. My step kids both own an iPod touch. I just think the way that Apples interfaces and the way they do things sucks. If I really wanted to I could afford to buy their stuff, but it just sucks, so I don't.
I have a Debian box dedicated to the job with hot swap drive bays and loads of storage for imaging too. Massive UPS could keep it all going for a good few hours before it gave up.:) ddrescue truly is a fantastic tool. Just mounted the partition image and pulled all the files out. Never thought it would work at all but when its going for the first month and not getting in the way its impossible to give up on it:)
Can't say I miss the start menu at all, haven't really noticed Metro being in the way or even there. Got 3 monitors, pinned my apps to the task bar, productivity is exactly the same as when I was on Win7 yesterday.
Time will tell I guess, but so far so good. I have no choice in running it as I own a computer shop and the general public are going to start coming in with problems at some point and I need to know how it all works!
I'll be leaving my home machines on Win7 for the foreseeable future. Kids n girlfriend don't need the change.
You do realise that CM isn't the only game in town developing ROMs? I don't know why everyone goes on about CM as if they're the greatest thing in the ROM creation world. I personally can't stand their ROMs. I'm currently running Nikez ICS on my original Desire, very nice it is too.
You don't get a phone with this deal, it's SIM only. But who hasn't got a half decent phone they're happy with anyway? The money I save I can just put towards a new phone when my HTC Desire finally gives up.
£10 a month gets me 250 minutes of free any network calls, unlimited SMS and "unlimited" data. Calls or texts to someone on the same network are completely free and don't take anything from the allowance. They're just setting up automatic topups so it's as good as a contract but you can just cancel it whenever you like.
In the UK I can have 250 minutes of in-network calls, unlimited texts to any network, unlimited internet, all for £10. Soon as my current contract is up, I'm switching my number to them.
I refer you to my original post.

I dislike Apples products. That's all.
fuck was given...

Had to do a recovery for a customer once. Used ddrescue as I always do. Took literally 9 months of solid recovery but it worked, got 100% back.
I power mine off the USB "service" socket on the back of the TV. Runs Wifi and a 16gb pen drive perfectly.
Yup. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1928731
Latest update has it. Some places have it OTA, I just grabbed the zip and flashed it from CWM.

Buy them on eBay and Alibaba for actual money.

Richard O'Dwyer does.
Isn't that just one use?

Read it again numbnuts.
It happened here in the UK. It did nothing. We're now paying considerably more than we were back then. It's a pointless gesture.
This is a stupid idea. People will either fill up the day before or the day after. The petrol companies lose nothing in the end.
1. People who do overclock and reap the benefits.
2. People who don't and like to moan about it.
Crucial M4. Latest firmware update makes the drive about 40% faster and is non-destructive.
Oh, by "them", I mean http://giffgaff.com/
