The old-school boxes are NEARLY useless for 20 minutes, too, because it takes at least that long for channel labels and listings to come up. You might think, "OK, I'll just watch something on my DVR," but OF COURSE FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER it doesn't let you play your DVR either!
Calling them outliers suggests they make up only a small percentage of the entire group of customers. That means that ISPs should be able to account for them when determining what they can afford to charge their customers... or whether they can afford to offer unlimited service at all. Obviously, if "everyone" is a "data hog", then no one is a "data hog". That's become common usage. So if every customer's demand has outstripped the technology and economy (supply), then perhaps unlimited plans have to go for now. But you can't call them "unlimited".
We have a government-- especially politicians from one specific party-- who say that the size of the debt doesn't matter. Yet, somehow, they are concerned that we might not be taxing certain people enough. If they don't need the money-- because we can just keep borrowing-- then the only explanation is that they want to punish people for making "too much" money (which I think is over $413,000 for 2015).
You basically can't, now. Barney Frank and his cohorts, as a parting gift, implemented a law that discriminates against 18-21 year olds and makes them essentially unable to obtain credit cards. They did this for your own good, you know.
I remember 2.0 back in about 92 or 93 and it was alright but not really special.
Being able to preemptively multitask DOS, 16-bit Windows and 32-bit OS/2 apps was pretty special in 1992. And an object-oriented GUI was pretty much exclusive to OS/2 for some time.
I have an Elocity tablet. It's stuck on Android 2.2. It's a shame, because the hardware is fantastic. It has a really great multitouch screen, HDMI out, supports both USB and micro SD up to 64 GB, and otherwise does what I need. The Tegra 2 processor is quick enough to run just about anything. But it was never supported by Google Play, which made getting apps tricky enough before but now you can't get anything that runs on 2.2.
People in the West think that government telling people how many children they can have is one of the highest forms of tyranny, regardless of actual results.
The number of people without running water or electricity in the USA is incredibly small. Internet, we're working on.
Oh, you meant in other countries? Why not lobby those governments to provide these vital services for their citizens?
I'm sorry... I thought you were asking us to stop acting like the policemen-- or bullies-- of the world, by shrinking our army and ending our interventionist policies. So it turns out that you still want our money. Well, my tax money goes to provide for the general welfare of the USA. To do otherwise is interventionist, and also against our fundamental principle of no taxation without representation. If we don't get to demand that the corrupt dictators of failed states change their policies and act according to the needs and will of their people, then no government assistance will be given them.
The people of the United States are not a wallet. If you want to perform charity work, donate time and money to a charity organization.
I knew this was wrong, so I took the lazy way and checked Wikipedia. For the first-world countries they provide the numbers, these countries have the same or more deaths per km:
Spain
Belgium
Japan
New Zealand
Czech Republic
South Korea
Not the worst. Not even close. Please stop making up facts.
Renting other people's cars? Sounds dangerous, what with the raping and all! Just too dangerous to allow. You'll have to have at least 10 cars, and a building, and a parking lot, and a bunch of special insurance and counter reps and detailers and think about all the jobs that creates! And what about the poor cab companies? They paid millions for those medallions!
In the USA, we have entire classes of foods banned from schools because some of the kids are allergic to them.
We also have parents who can't be bothered to feed their children, so our schools have to make and serve them breakfast and even dinner too-- forget about packing a lunch when they don't even have any food at home. We have SNAP, but they still can't seem to provide three squares. Maybe these people are eating all the food themselves and sending the kids out to dig in the trash.
I'm glad you can make it work up there. Frankly, I'm stunned.
You're assuming they should be regulating alcohol and nicotine.
Many of the problems in society are due to the cronyism and outright corruption involved with "regulation" of those substances, which mostly involves taxation and a bunch of social initiatives which mostly keep the lawyers, marketers, and insurance companies wealthy.
Except for the trans fats... oh dear. We ate those because someone said lard was bad. And we ate palm oil, because it wasn't animal fat, but it's saturated fat. Oh dear. Wait, saturated fats aren't actually that bad now, are they?
There's a reason people are frustrated. Stop ridiculing them.

Chase is a nationally chartered bank, so they can essentially ignore the usury laws in your state.
Yeah, I bought a truck 3 years ago... with CASH.
That ain't right!
So, did the KKK do anything of note while you were a mole?
They must be the world's least effective SIG.
Is he "not apart of anonymous"? That means he's with anonymous.
It's not pedantry.
Did they ever make a computer CASE that was spotted like a Holstein? A lot of women would have just snapped that up.
LBJ created the War on Poverty, the second-longest running war after the War on Drugs.
95%. That's nice. Now, when a man dies his family can be left destitute.
That's not what Jefferson had in mind.

The PRC doesn't see it that way, as you should know.
Neither does the USA, actually-- thanks, Nixon and Carter.
People in the West think that government telling people how many children they can have is one of the highest forms of tyranny, regardless of actual results.
ROFL considered harmful
So those cities have no governments? And the states in which they reside have no governments? And there are no charities like Habitat for Humanity?
We already have well-funded social programs for those issues. They date back to the 1930s. More money isn't the answer.

MacGyver could make a helicopter with just the hacksaw blades and glue. And give the drugs and cigarettes to a few inmates to act as lookouts.
I guess he could use the cell phone as a hammer, because in the 1980s they were the size of a brick.
