Rugby rules are nonsensical. Camp was a genius when he created the system of downs. It rather beats "everyone pile onto the ball carrier until the official figures he's had enough".
Yes, I agree they are jokes. Especially reducing tire grip... yeah, let's make the car less safe. NASCAR limits engine power, but that was originally to INCREASE safety, more than to level the playing field.
So basically, your yellow is an "all red", and the blinking green is a yellow. That's the ultimate effect. The only good feature is the yellow for people waiting.
Since there are no longer criminal penalties all of those pesky constitutional guarantees fall to the wayside.
Except for the one that says we're not supposed to deprived of property without due process... that applies whether it's "civil" or not. And of course, if the fine's over $20 you could ask for a jury trial. Gee, maybe the founders were on to something there... oh yeah, they tried to pull crap like this back in the 18th century too.
The funny thing is that back in the Clinton era, they classified strong encryption as a munition to keep it from being exported and inadvertently gave it second amendment protection here...
Number one, there is a controversy. I know you think only famous cosmologists, mechanical engineers who used to host science shows for kids, and the fossil fuel companies count. But there are actual CLIMATE SCIENTISTS who have doubts, not to mention a large potion of the public.
Second, unless you're a fan of damnatio memorae, controversies should be mentioned even if they were wrong. You know, like aether theories, eugenics, phrenology, bloodletting...
There were slaves imported up to 1808, when it was finally outlawed (the Constitution required that it not be done until 1808). That being said, I really doubt there were even hundreds of thousands between independence (whether traditionally 1776, de facto 1781, or de jure 1783).
Is there a word for the people from central New Jersey (you know, the distinctly non-"Garden State" part) who wear camo, drive pickup trucks, line dance, and call themselves "rednecks"?
Because we're talking about people who have. And no, I'm not going to pretend that there is moral equivalence between people who have might have ironically Nobel Peace prize-winning leaders, yet are peacefully going about their lives, and people who directly attack the innocent and defenseless.
Because there isn't moral equivalence. And while, as a Christian, I'm painfully aware that 100% of us have done evil and deserve death, I'm not going to excuse violent actions in some idiotic attempt to build political cachet.
This is why alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine are legal despite being extremely addictive and bad for one's health.
That's a bit of a blanket statement. Alcohol and caffeine are not addictive, by the scientific definition of the word, and alcohol is not bad for your health in small quantities. Actually, none of those is bad for you in small quantities.
And VH1... which also turned into non-music reality crap, save a few shows. Viacom basically takes the few kernels of corn out of the crap and puts them on Palladia, which is awesome for now.
But it's not free. A multi-million dollar project will have to be initiated, and probably at least 30 permanent employees added to the federal payroll.
These kinds of people need to be sued for slander, because it devalues the plight of women who were actually abused.
Whatever you say, Mr. Seven Digit ID.
Zig Ziglar used to say that the only thing worse than training an employee and having him leave, is NOT training him and having him stay!
Employers only care about today's bottom line and don't think about the consequences of not cultivating talent and loyalty.

Saturday Night Live already did that bit...

Bonus points for NO CARRIER

The award was for Best Lens Flare.

BUTTOCKS
You've personally bombed someone?

Kind of sexist?

If I'm running a website, I don't care if some fool running a 10 year old browser can't hit my site. I might not even want him to.
Pawn Stars is worse. They had an entire moronic episode revolving around Skype.

Typical European bigot, using words like "retarded" to project his ignorance.

I have one of those older HD DVR boxes and it does work "properly", but it simply doesn't have the capability of doing 1080p, just 1080i.
Or they could just say, "We'll take all your profits and do you the favor of not suing you."
