    Your opinion is simply not the popular one among either academics or lay people. I imagine you're focusing on some of the poorly written episodes and ignoring masterpieces like "City on the Edge of Forever".

    Why isn't anyone questioning what expertise a surgeon general could have in the field of GLOBAL WARMING? Isn't that like asking a physicist about cellular mitosis? But then, this entire article is a troll. The current candidate is criticized because he called homosexual intercourse unhealthy and unnatural. Excuse me, but are there any reproductive structures in the anus? Tell me, what is the normal function of the anus? Sounds like some people in the Senate have their heads up their asses!

    Which is well and good for people who like those kinds of games, but some of us like games to be sophisticated simulations that give a sense of immersion as if we are actually in a new environment.
    Good for you. Now please go back to playing Wolfenstein 3-D. Oh yeah, it wasn't immersive enough and no one plays it anymore. Such happens to games that depend on technology more than game play.

    Can you tell me at any point in history if a cow went unmilked? Excellent!

    Good thing the Israelites weren't the only slaves they had. And we're a little less displaced from the year 1840 than from the time period of Exodus.

    He'd still be wrong, then... wouldn't he? Most CD releases then were still being recorded and mixed in the analog domain, and the A/D converters weren't nearly as sophisticated. Forget about reissues-- those things were horrible. Sometimes they were made from LP masters. RIAA curve on a CD is not a pretty thing.

    For example, Belafonte's Carnegie Hall concert, which maxed out two LPs, is now crammed onto two CDs, by chopping out large parts of the concert - not only the introductions and talks between songs, but even sections of the songs themselves.
    That seems bizarre, as the longest LPs I've seen hold less than an hour of music including both sides. A full LP should fit on a full 72-minute CD. There may be more than a technical issue here.

    They are trying to indemnify their own bottom line. I learned with WinNT to wait for SP1 and beyond.
    With NT 4, you were best off waiting until SP3! SP2 was particularly horrible.

    Yes he is, you fool. Read the entire transcript. He omitted ENTIRE PARAGRAPHS to make the speech sound inflammatory. There was nothing mocking about it, and every part of the conference except the meeting WAS CANCELLED. The meeting itself was held because it had to be held pursuant to the NRA charter. He also showed footage of the NC event months later ("cold dead hands" while brandishing a rifle) BEFORE the Denver speech. I'll be modded down redundant, but since you somehow missed the five other posts pointing this out I'll take the risk.
