    If you don't like to see that content, you don't click the link. Simple. If you want others to believe you don't like to see such content, but can't resist to watch it, well, that's your problem.

    a few kilograms of uranium spread out over several miles wouldn't be much of a concern. I doubt that would up your daily dose of radioactivity much. I wonder how much uranium we're exposed to on a daily base.

    A DOS-attack isn't "quite mild" when your business depends on your internet connection (e.g. Amazone). Not to mention the bill for all that extra traffic.

    I can understand not wanting to have mixed groups, by day 100 all the women will be pregnant, by just before day 400 they'll be giving birth, and I doubt that there's a maternity ward on any spaceship pre-24th century.
    IIRC birth control pills have been around since the sixties. And those work pretty good. (my gf hasn't yet been pregnant. At least I hope so. I'll know after the weekend. Yes, *that* time of the month. Sigh! Periods. Such a bloody waste of fucking time.)

    A high power transmitter close to public. Bad idea. Second it's very hard to control how far it will block the cell phones. Rather use a low power version and put a lot of metal in the walls and ceilings.

    It is possible, although not as simple. First put a lot of metal in the walls and ceiling to block all radio signals. (cell phones are nothing more than advanced radios)
    Then put a small cell phone tranceiver (a small version of those cell phone towers) inside the room and program it to only allow outgoing calls to the emergency numbers (e.g. 911).

    I wonder about that too. Communisme is about sharing everything you have with everyone (well, in theory...). Porn is about sharing your sexlive with everyone else. So basicly how the heck could they be against it?

    How about homes that produce more energy than they consume?
    IMHO a challenge for designing a house that doesn't use more energy than it produce, would only have real meaning if it isn't more expensive than ordinary houses (plus a few years of energy costs), has a decent reliablity and no hassle.

    I didn't know lobbying was a creative occupation. If we can't buy next generation burners in the US, we'll buy them from China. No matter how much noise they make or how oppresive their laws become, there will always be ways around their "protection" to get free music/movies. However the collateral damage of these laws will soon enough hit a critical level and backfire on the lobbyists.
    Let see if those who lose their jobs in the hardware industry will be as understanding about the **AA's need for "protection".
