Several companies in 2000 tried to buy small tv stations called lptv's. They opperate on low power; VHF 3kw and UHF 150kw max ERP. They are licensed like other broadcasting stations in the US by the FCC.
Several US companies tried it. ISP's were on board at first but abondoned the plan arround 2001-2002'ish probably decided it was a better idea to build wired networks instead. To build one of these VHF/UHF stations it cost arround $300,000.
Its simply too late to dump SMTP. If we would have thought about this 5 or so years ago it maybe would have been possible but now we have so many using this system its inpossible to change to a newer standard.
I hope these companies that are building a network like this also deploy a security system that will prevent outsiders. Unfortunately "Most computers are pretty" so someone has to execute a good solution.
The reason why they want to block police officers from getting shot in games is because they think that it will carry over to real life. Nobody wants to see brave police man killed trying to protect us.
The fact is that data collection places out in the middle of now where don't often have the bandwidth to transfer large ammounts of data so a car is your easiest way to transfer data.
Source Forge is a great tool, I've used it and its really helpful on collaborating projects. The source code is avalible on thier site (http://sourceforge.net/projects/alexandria-dev) and perhaps you could strip it down to meet your needs.
Apply a screwdriver to it; reassemble in the proper order.
Um, though that may be a little hard with the program, I'll admit.
Maybe if I apply the screwdriver to the ~~++5#Q%NO CARRIER
I took a hammer to one; you have to watch out thought, I ended up losing a piece and having a worthless peace of plastic.
It's also alot easier to catch students who attempt to cheat in this manner. Students who try to lift papers from the web have no idea how easy it is to google part of a sentence from their work in quotes. I've had quite a few students who try to get away with this, and are amazed when they get caught. And usually very sorry when the fail the class.
Well maybe if they didn't copy paste and actually put a little work into it they could get away with it.

Everyone is making excuses for this guy but what he did IS illegal, you can't be threating to kill people when your upset.
$1000 for a date with a girl, thats outragous^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H all right, I'll take it.
don't worry, a spammer will soon capture this huge market. Allowing men to become the women they always wanted to be. Just wait and see.
Okay but it still means something to me, please wire transfer your worthless money to:
Bank of America
Account number: 3948928289901
Yeah, but an extra $500 makes all the difference.
Official Verisign Response
This is sickening how Verisign can take over a allegedly no company owned internet. I guess Verisign owns the net.
I would aggree with that. Do web design work for awhile and see if your really into it, if you are then incorperate.
The thing about incorpating is that its a hassle. About $2,000 to $5,000 in fees then you have to have to do taxes each year for it too.

This has got to be the stupidest idea, how long before Microsoft sends out a Press release saying its a joke (just like it did with the ipoo/iloo.)

How come no one talks about low power AM broadcasting?
AM isn't really a popular medium anymore. Plus AM with a franction of the power of FM can go a longer distance.
I don't think H. Dean stands a chance.

Second, The main reason that most online merchants block orders from certain countries is because of the HIGH fraud originating from these countries.
That wouldn't help become with Mozilla Mail you can still open ZIP attackments with viruses.
dont worry, UPN gets horrible ratings and will probably go bankrupt soon anyway.

Any idea how long it will take to have lego's solve it?

I don't know if its the way its being reported or if its actually true but it seems Linux is get more and more chosen over M$.
