To be fair, the blame should be on those who actually voted for SD, many of whom say they "only want a more sane immigration policy".

Meanwhile, in reality, the party they voted for is openly against any immigration from outside of Europe, they say Islam is a threat to Sweden's culture, and their members are people who are significalty more likely to have been convicted of assault, abuse, rape and hate crimes. Stopping immigration is pitched as a question of cost for society – give the money to the sick and the elderly instead.

Sweden's population would be shrinking if it weren't for immigration. SD's solution to this dilemma is to have women stay at home and make more babies. That's a really fresh new idea...

Sweden used to have the world's most equal parliament. Even the conservatives had a 50-50 rule for men and women. Then came SD. 20 seats: 17 men and 3 women.

But we'll survive. It's quite likely they won't make it into the parliament the next time. Hopefully the "angry young men" have found another party to vote for by then.

The Donald Duck party is an all time favourite joke vote in Sweden, but it is actually a registered party. They promise free alcohol and wider sidewalks. They don't have a budget for voting slips, but write-in votes are valid (if spelt correctly). See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Duck_Party

As far as I can tell from the article no shoe company has complained.

Not true. The original article in Svenska Dagbladet says (my translation):

Shoe company Brandos [sic], Sweden's larget online shoe company, reacted when the National Police Agency proudly presented their new shoe database the other week.

    - To our great surprise we saw that the image on the police's web site looked suspiciously like one of our images. In a story on [TV channel] SVT we then saw that more images were taken from us, says Fredrik Juto, chairman of Brando.

The company has several staff members and photo studios working on taking images of all shoes from several angles. Today, there are over 100 000 product images avaialble on the web.

    - We have previously helped the police in Sweden and abroad with identifying shoe models, and we'll gladly continue to help. But it upsets us that they've consistently and without our consent taken what we suspect are many images from us, says Juto.

A friend and I once created a web site called "Hata Aftonbladet" ("Hate Aftonbladet"), parodying Aftonbladet's focus on "easy" reporting, sensational news and celebrity gossip. That even got us an interview on national radio. Nevertheless, I have to say they do provide at least 30-40 % real news, and Assange's columns will be read by a lot of people, especially among the lefties, who are traditionally anti-US.

Here are the current news topics from the main page of the web site:

Yes, but information theory also states that every linear time-invariant system without poles in its power spectrum has a stable inverse. Motion blur in the scope can easily and with high accuracy be modelled as an LTI system. The gyroscope produces information used to model the system and its inverse. In practice, it won't be perfect, but the real world rarely is. In fact, very little information would disappear due to the motion blur itself. The other factors you mention are probably greater.
