Unfortunately, I have seen posts of a similar "the solution is sooo simple, just do foo" vein that were DEAD SERIOUS. I have replied with a "HAH" to some of these only to have the OP have a temper tantrum. I simply had to ask whether you were joking or not. The extension doesn't work with Firefox 1.0.7. I was enticed when I saw it in a comment earlier. Is there an easy way to upgrade to 1.5 in Ubuntu? I'm already using the universe repos.

Ubuntu has stated that they will not be rolling 1.5.x into 5.10 due to massive dependancy issues (at least that's what was claimed).

However, it can be done. Go to Ubuntu Forums and search for "Firefox 1.5 install" in the forums for 5.10. It's pretty straight forward. Alternatively, you could use Automatix to install 1.5 (search the forums for Automatix).

That's the dumbest justification I've read (and there's a few of them here...).

If I am at a computer lab and the sound bothers me, I am free to put on headphones or use earplugs - can't do that in a classroom. While at work I do the same thing. Although, I will say at work I do not need near the same level of concentration as learning does in a classroom or lab. So the clicks don't bother me as much. When they do, on with the headphones (or in with the earplugs).

Bullshit. I got not one, but two unlock codes from Cingular. There are guidelines, I am sure, but I had no hassle at all getting it.

I had an up-to-date account, I had paid full price for my phone through amazon (purchasesd w/o a plan), and needed international *local* calling. I called them up and said I wanted the unlock code for such-and-such IMEI number. They submitted the request and I got the code 3-4 days later. I called again when I had a warranty replacement phone, and it went just as smoothly.

What you are saying is wrong. Go check out any Moto chat board and you will find people who have been able to get codes for their phones from both Cingular and T-Mobile.
