There are plenty of tech jobs out here (Unemployment just hit another low last week). I am in the East Bay and I have been getting recruiter calls again for 8 months.
Could it be that this movie merely touches on these works of philosophy in order to:
a) make the movie seem deeper than it is? b) provide a vessel by which the layperson can get an introduction to such concepts, and drive them to learn more afterwards? c) provide fanboys a set of discussion threads to illustrate their intellectual hubris? d) all of the above

I don't know if this is widely known, but the original Dragon's Lair is available to play on your DVD player (no Toshiba's tho) from a company called Digital Leisure. A buddy of mine gave it to me, so I have no idea where to buy em. try www.digitalleisure.com (no, I don't work for 'em)
