The people I've dealt with at Cox Cable since July 2002 (for their High Speed Internet service) have been great. Among the best customer support I've ever experience, so far...
Cox Cable High Speed Internet does not have that limitation. I am allowed to have a home LAN, but I am responsible to maintain it. They only service the connection to the cable modem. I wouldn't sign up for a service that didn't allow a home LAN. I didn't have one until I got the HSI, and now I know I wouldn't want to be without it!
Missed that myself. There was one later that I picked up though. They think the Andorian crew member is a traitor, then when the captain see him next (while said captain is fighting a klingon on the planet surface) he doesn't even think twice about trusting the blue guy. Its been about 15 minutes. PLEASE! Still, overall it wasn't that bad. Most professional shows have holes in their story too. There are LOTS of web sites devoted to things like that...
From the country that gave us Big Brother comes...Big Brother! A liberal/commie/socialist idea, and a bad one at that. Hey if the Brits want to bend over for the one world government types, let them. They already gave up their firearms. Get ready folks, because the next step will be those big screen TVs where they can see whatever you do (ala 1984). Putting restrictions on the law-abiding does NOT stop the criminals! Good luck!
Not a fascist idea at all. Rather a liberl/commie/socialist idea. And a bad one at that. From the country that gave us Big Brother comes...Big Brother!
Well said. I don't trust them now. Pandering to my political leanings won't help them. Too many patronage employees who keep their jobs no matter who is in office.
As for the breast cancer thing, and the condom thing, why don't we do the research and find out!
It was originally video, but quickly changed to versatile, yet most people still think it stands for video... Why? Probably because the biggest use is movies.
I'm walking down the street when I see a police officer pull up to a store which is being robbed. As I watch he is shot by the criminal inside. I run to his aid, and in an effort to defend him I pick up his gun and aim it in the general direction of the store. Just then, the criminal walks out and aims his gun at me. I pull the trigger and BEEP, "you are not authorized to use this firearm" is the last thing I hear before I'm shot dead, followed shortly by the shot that finishes the policeman. Yes, smart guns are a REAL good idea, if you sell coffins for a living.
Think it couldn't happen? Okay, how about homeowner and visiting relative versus an armed burgler... and I've got others. This is, simply put, a VERY bad idea.
And then again, some people are so gullible that they will believe anything the government tells them...without any independent research or reasoning of their own because they are close-minded. I'm open to either possibility. You?
$15,000 seems like a small price to pay, especially from the same people that pay more for toilet seats and hammers, so what is the big deal! You seem to be assuming that it would change no minds.
Yes, we should all believe NASA because as a government agency, they would never lie to us. And we should all believe Tom Hanks, because as an actor (ie, someone who pretends for a living) he is an instant expert on any subject he makes a movie about. And we should all remember that anyone who disagrees with us, or who requests further proof of things we say are true is automatically a kook and should be ridiculed!
More likely, is that Aldrin wouldn't swear on a Bible while on camera because he believes in God (and knows doing so would be a sin). And hitting a man who is simply talking to you is not legal (unless of course you are an Astronaut). If we could go to the moon before, and I'm still not sure either way (I was a believer, but I now have some doubts - which is not a bad thing), then lets do so again. Right away! And lets use that same foil we used to block out the radiation from the two Van Allen Radiation Belts before! Oh what fun...

He can run MUCH faster than I can, so... by their logic he must be 3 people.
I haven't seen it, and never will because...

due to his far left-wing politics, I am boycotting anything connected to Spielberg. I will not spend one second nor one cent on what he produces, as he would only turn around and give it to his fellow socialists. And since I'm sure it will be accused, I can assure you this has nothing to do with his religion!
We've spent FAR more than $40 Billion on those and last time I checked, we still have poor people (except of course when a Democrat is in the White House, when they all magically vanish, only to reappear when a Republican wins...)
Not true. I own Sonic the Hedgehog for the SMS, as well as the Genesis. It WAS released, just not in the USA! I acquired it via a trade... complete with box and manual. Jealous?;^)
Last I heard there were still almost 1.3 billion people living under Communist rule in China alone (http://www.cpirc.org.cn/eindex.htm). Not to mention Cuba, North Korea and places like Iraq that also have varying forms of such governments. So your statement that the "all-powerful state are in fact a product of the Fascist and Cold War eras", which implied its end seems a bit premature, don't you think? Oh wait, you proved you don't. Sorry!
How you got all that out of a three line message that ends totally tongue in cheek is beyond me...
Actually, hypocrisy (or the act of being a hypocrite) is saying one thing and doing the opposite. In other words, blindly believing the government on one issue and questioning them on another. I'm sorry that you are so feebleminded that I had to explain this twice. It is people like you (liberals) who tell others how great public schools are then send your children to private schools (as one example). To follow your thinking, the government just lies about little things, but we can trust them on big things (like going to the moon). So just why is it that if we could go there in the 1960's we can't go back now? Technology has made DRASTIC leaps forward since then. So if it was possible then, then it should be more possible now (easier). I also find it amusing that the same people who argue against SDI (Strategic DEFENSE Initiative) by saying it will never work blindly followed JFK's dream without question.
You put it very well! If it ain't broke,
don't fix it (or in this case, take it away).

"Religion - 1. n. The leading cause of war, death and complete idiocy in all of recorded history."
No, that would be liberalism/communism/socialism.
Most, if not all, libraries carry CDs,
which they loan out for free.
Oh, and it is nibble, not "nybble".
Very funny SIG otherwise!
I started on an Apple ][+ which ran DOS 3.3
