    The people I've dealt with at Cox Cable
    since July 2002 (for their High Speed
    Internet service) have been great. Among
    the best customer support I've ever
    experience, so far...

    Cox Cable High Speed Internet does not have
    that limitation. I am allowed to have a
    home LAN, but I am responsible to maintain
    it. They only service the connection to
    the cable modem. I wouldn't sign up for a
    service that didn't allow a home LAN. I
    didn't have one until I got the HSI, and
    now I know I wouldn't want to be without it!

    Missed that myself. There was one later that
    I picked up though. They think the Andorian
    crew member is a traitor, then when the captain
    see him next (while said captain is fighting a
    klingon on the planet surface) he doesn't even
    think twice about trusting the blue guy. Its
    been about 15 minutes. PLEASE! Still, overall
    it wasn't that bad. Most professional shows
    have holes in their story too. There are LOTS
    of web sites devoted to things like that...

    Brits want to bend over for the one world
    government types, let them. They already
    gave up their firearms. Get ready folks,
    because the next step will be those big
    screen TVs where they can see whatever
    you do (ala 1984). Putting restrictions
    on the law-abiding does NOT stop the

    changed to versatile, yet most people
    still think it stands for video...

    I'm walking down the street when I see a
    police officer pull up to a store which is
    being robbed. As I watch he is shot by the
    criminal inside. I run to his aid, and in
    an effort to defend him I pick up his gun
    and aim it in the general direction of the
    store. Just then, the criminal walks out
    and aims his gun at me. I pull the trigger
    and BEEP, "you are not authorized to use
    this firearm" is the last thing I hear
    before I'm shot dead, followed shortly by
    the shot that finishes the policeman. Yes,
    smart guns are a REAL good idea, if you
    sell coffins for a living.

    Think it couldn't happen? Okay, how about
    homeowner and visiting relative versus an
    armed burgler... and I've got others.
    This is, simply put, a VERY bad idea.

    $15,000 seems like a small price to pay,
    especially from the same people that pay
    more for toilet seats and hammers, so what
    is the big deal! You seem to be assuming
    that it would change no minds.

    Yes, we should all believe NASA because as a government
    agency, they would never lie to us. And we should all
    believe Tom Hanks, because as an actor (ie, someone who
    pretends for a living) he is an instant expert on any
    subject he makes a movie about. And we should all
    remember that anyone who disagrees with us, or who
    requests further proof of things we say are true is
    automatically a kook and should be ridiculed!

    More likely, is that Aldrin wouldn't swear on a Bible
    while on camera because he believes in God (and knows
    doing so would be a sin). And hitting a man who is
    simply talking to you is not legal (unless of course
    you are an Astronaut). If we could go to the moon
    before, and I'm still not sure either way (I was a
    believer, but I now have some doubts - which is not
    a bad thing), then lets do so again. Right away!
    And lets use that same foil we used to block out the
    radiation from the two Van Allen Radiation Belts
    before! Oh what fun...

    and last time I checked, we still have poor

    Last I heard there were still almost 1.3 billion
    people living under Communist rule in China alone

    mention Cuba, North Korea and places like Iraq
    that also have varying forms of such governments.
    So your statement that the "all-powerful state are
    in fact a product of the Fascist and Cold War
    eras", which implied its end seems a bit
    premature, don't you think? Oh wait, you proved

    How you got all that out of a three line
    message that ends totally tongue in cheek
    is beyond me...

    Actually, hypocrisy (or the act of being a hypocrite)
    is saying one thing and doing the opposite. In other
    words, blindly believing the government on one issue
    and questioning them on another. I'm sorry that you
    are so feebleminded that I had to explain this twice.
    It is people like you (liberals) who tell others how
    great public schools are then send your children to
    private schools (as one example). To follow your
    thinking, the government just lies about little
    things, but we can trust them on big things (like
    going to the moon). So just why is it that if we
    could go there in the 1960's we can't go back now?
    Technology has made DRASTIC leaps forward since then.
    So if it was possible then, then it should be more
    possible now (easier). I also find it amusing that
    the same people who argue against SDI (Strategic
    DEFENSE Initiative) by saying it will never work
    blindly followed JFK's dream without question.
