    no no no you put the disk in then leave - then make it eject it- this breaks the glass on the front of the rack you nip in and take your server then claim on the insurance it was stolen and thats how you pay for your $350 weasel and some beer money ontop ;-)

    Its the same as the story about office 11 DRM people will love trustworthy computeing and the ability to limit who see's their word documents. If you give someone a little power they will generally take advantage and start getting all big headed about it. With this, people will sit there for hours customising the security for a document their going to send a freind about something which requires no security at all. "Oooh ill let them store it in encrypted format but no printing or anything unsecure". all this for a textfile about what they did at the weekend. :-(

    Imagine if CD players imposed such bizarre rules such as forcing you to listen to something as obnoxious as the this before you could play the disc, "The following music you are about to listen to is copyrighted material. Any unauthorized copying of this material is a felony offense." dont give them ideas :-s

    or even less - once a week. The Root domain servers could put an entry of the TLD 's existence into the file the previous week saying it will activate on such and such a date.
