As a current Drexel student (in the Materials Engineering department no less), I've got to believe you weren't in the CoE. While I can't speak for the experience of others, my experience there has been nothing short of positive.
But our department is also very good. We have great faculty and it's small enough so that you actually get to know pretty much everybody.
BTW - Taki's not so bad, having actually talked to him in person.
I think security is a perfectly valid argument if you work from the premise that no software is bug-free. I'm more interested in the response of a company to a security hole than I am about the hole itself. In this case, I think it's pretty obvious that the Mozilla Foundation responds to and fixes security holes much faster than Microsoft does.
The external tank has insulation on it, since it's loaded with liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen. That insulation is prone to fall off during launch, but by that point it's really served its main purpose already by keeping condensation/ice from forming on the tank prior to launch.
No kidding. It's not AMD's fault if the chipsets for their CPUs happen to be far superior to the Pentium M chipsets. Like others have said, I'd have had a problem if they were using a Mobility 9700 or something, but the Mobility Radeon Xpress 200 seems like fair game to me.
NT4 SP5 (or maybe SP4, I don't remember exactly which one) brought support for NTFS5, which was new to Windows 2000. And no, NTFS5 partitions aren't readable in NT4 otherwise.
Where are the SATA connectors?!?!?! I find it amazing that the K8WE only has 2 and the K8SER 4.
While we're on the topic, having at least 1 PCIe x1 slot would be nice.
These high end server boards are being outclassed by nForce4 SLI motherboards.
(And for the record, using more than 4 SATA ports is very doable)
After about 15 minutes on Google, this is about the best quote I've found:
For example: Bill O'Reilly, host of Fox News Cable channel program, The O'Reilly Factor, three times between July, 2001 and March, 2002, stated on his program: "No one knows when human life begins". (Source)
Beyond that, I can only say that I recall him saying it on his show.
While I'm sure you're just trying to be a troll, you might be interested to know that last time I checked, Bill O'Reilly is actually in favor of stem cell research.
If people are accustomed to paying for gasoline, would it be out of the question for them to pay a fee when they get a fresh battery? That fee could obviously cover the costs of battery replacements as needed.
usage Though disapproved of by many, pronunciations ending in \-ky&-l&r\ have been found in widespread use among educated speakers including scientists, lawyers, professors, congressmen, U.S. cabinet members, and at least one U.S. president and one vice president. While most common in the U.S., these pronunciations have also been heard from British and Canadian speakers.
If this can be applied to cars when coming out of factory, it'll save a lot of 'disagreement' with supermarket trollies.
...which is great until you're in an accident and a part needs to be stripped and refinished. Having worked in the coatings division of a major US chemical company, I can tell you that there are coatings in the lab which are very scratch resistant, but there has to be tradeoffs so they aren't completely impervious to scratching.
AMEN. It never ceases to amaze me how people blather on about how their childhoods are ruined and such, because a guy alters a film a little? The story hasn't changed at all, just some of the details were tweaked for continuity and the effects were improved. OH THE HORROR!!!
Seriously, if that kind of stuff is ruining people's childhoods, they've got other far more serious problems.
Yeah, and I'm sure it was really David Lee Roth posting in the comments section too...

For the same reason mine was modded Flamebait I suppose :-)

Hawking radiation is a very good thing.
24C is 75F. I'm betting it was just a typo.
Just so you know, Mitchell Baker is a woman.

You know, linking a bunch of nerds with no life to a site with an open RSVP form may not have been the wisest of ideas
...who's going to pay for this?
It seems to me short of a court order, nobody's going to ever get one of these in their car.

I think NASA is well aware of that. It's the public that needs to learn that lesson.

I'm pretty sure there are international treaties banning any country from claiming extraterrestrial land for their country.
You're using the latest version of the Sun Java VM? After all, the MS JVM isn't even included with SP2.
This is the link you want for 1.0 Release builds: http://www.moox.ws/tech/mozilla/releasebuilds.htm

Exactly, this is Mayor Street we're talking about after all. His whole administration is ridiculously corrupt.
I thought it had been given a reprieve to go for a few more years longer thanks to some congressmen making noise about it.
