Second it IS very stable, especially compaired to WoW and EQ2. It has its small problems here or there but the game has been out for 2 years now. Its NOT a new game like these are and has been tested. CoP was almost seemless except for a few opening day bugs.
Third the only way you can get banned like you say is if you shout extreamly offensive language (like your a shit eating pussy licker) Fuck while frowned upon you saying isnt enough to get you banned and unless you have the chat filter shut off wouldnt even show up (**** would show up in its place)
About the only place your right is the economy which yes has been hurt by the gil sellers... but thats every game including WoW where you can ALREADY buy money online. You DO NOT need the best gear to play (I dont have the best gear and do fine on gods) and the idea you need the best gear comes from the same asshats who came from EQ to FFXI and who buy that stupid Brady Guide.
Oh and that TAB problem... is your computer, there is no bug. Course if your pressing TAB as frequently as you are chances are you one of those gil sellers since you would only do that to NM hunt.

The Final Fantasy halloween fest actually caused a little stir because for the first day or so while people knew you had to give the mobs treats, no one knew cheap fruit could be used, so there was a huge runup on sweets on the auction houses and bazaars (I made over 100k in game on cheaply made in game candy alone and I didnt take the market like others where) People where pissed they where spending anywhere from 1 - 100k just to get a item since it was so random and 9 times out of 10 you turned into a monster.
The items are what people are after, they actually grant warp to those people who dont have mage jobs, and depending on which one you get you can have anywhere from 1 to unlimited warps which when you go to these areas people like to party in can be a lifesaver. the big fear is that this might change afterward since they did leave a clause in the info saying that they had the right to change this at any time.
It was also quite interesting to see people scream in game, since they wherent your run of the mill mobs they put in town but with some of them (like the Dark Stalkers) some of the toughest mobs in the game.
Infact yesterday the GMs on almost all of the worlds decided to dress up and half of them dressed up as the Shadow Lord himself... scaring the crap out of a lot of people who turned off the names function
maybe you didnt read right... I said i knew ten systems that where superior and did worse in sales than the xbox has, not ten systems that where superior TO the xbox and had worse sales than the xbox.
well if you would like to know... I broke it transporting it back and forth to my girlfriends house for a half a year....
And it isnt a defect, DVD and CD optics are known to fail on even high quality stuff.... its kinda like a expensive needle. The only device I have seen last more than 10 years was our first CD player..
