Kind of wierd when you think that Caldera (now SCO) acquired DR-DOS to do legal battle with Microsoft only two years ago, but I suppose that just illustrates the shifting loyalties on the intellectual property battlefield. IBM is good and all, but one wonders how long they'd back Linux if a better opportunity comes along.
About a New York Min.= (6.626 X 10exp(-34) second).
What you say is quite true. But there is a downside. When an entire generation grows up flouting the law, then the political system responds by becoming more draconian. Remember, in 1900 the police used to knock politely on the door when they went to arrest someone. Now they break it down.

This is from the last paragraph of the article. How many lines of code are there in the Linux kernal? What was that line about monkeys(SCO) and Shakesphere?
"The month of June is show-and-tell time," McBride said. "Everybody's been clamoring for the code...and we're going to show hundreds of lines of code."
I'd have to double check but I think the thing is worth more than $4.5 Million as scrap metal alone. This really is a deal for someone who can swing the financing.
"I believe that you are insane, and now I have the proof of it.
Seriously, is life so horrific for you that you must ignore all basic logic to wrap yourself in the comfort of a lie?"
Please Robin feel free to interupt and call me insane, or do you feel this is the best way to open a dialog? My statement stands as given.
We are not talking about scientific data here, if you think science can say anything coherent about God then you are seriously mistaken. BTW as an exercise for the student, prove on the same basis as you demand proof of God, the existence of Julius Cesar. (Hint, you cannot prove the existance of either JC scientificly, they left no remains).
The problem you have to face is that the evidence is all historical, and while history can use the implements and techniques of science, the data itself is not scientific. After all, you cannot very well repeat the experiment now can you?
So, do you accept the historical data, or do you call all those witnesses delusional and liars?
Thank you for your interesting but flawed argument. You do understand that the Apostle was talking about those who wilfully refuse to understand. You do understand that all of nature became corrupt with the fall of Adam? You do understand that time is merely a part of nature?
I am not trying to be argumentative. God hides from the ungodly not for His sake, but for theirs. A strong vessel will hold the wine but a cracked one will burst asunder.
I am not arguing that the Bible is in error. I am arguing that the corruption of the world by Satan was more thorough than we know. I am also arguing that the ungodly are blinded to what in nature does point to Our Lord.

Boy them fundies got that wrong. If Einstein followed any religious tradition it was the Jewish one. Or did everyone miss the fact that he had to flee the Nazis because he was a Jew? I believe he said that he actually was agnostic.
Anyhow, it's a mistake to look for God in nature. As Jesus said long ago, "No sign shall be given a sinful generation save the sign of Jonah.", meaning his death and Ressurection. So look all you want guys, you won't see any sign of God, even if it's as obvious as the nose on your face. Proof comes after belief, not before.
BTW - I am not a Fundamentalist. I'm an Orthodox Christian.
Since this is the season of Pentacaust I'll sign this:
I would argue that the name Unix properly belongs to the hacker communities that have created Open Source/Free Software. After all Unix was released to the academic community by AT&T because it was just a "toy" OS. It took a decade's worth of hard work by the academic community to turn it into a premire OS. At which point AT&T which had left the possibility of taking all that code for itself in its EULA, did so. Fundementally, the proprietary Unices are based on legal theft.
An impassioned McBride, however, said there's a matter of principle at stake. SCO Group can't just let its intellectual property be used willy-nilly.
"This is not about 10 lines of code, it's about 20 years of extremely valuable intellectual property we're trying to protect...Am I supposed to lie down and not say anything about it?" McBride said. "There's a certain point here where you stand up for what's right and let the chips fall where they will."
As I am sure you know, steroscopic vision has a range of ~20 feet (6 or 7 Meters). Anything further than that you will see in exactly the same way as someone with two eyes. And to tell you the truth most people with two eyes can't tell the difference until they try to touch something. BTW do you have a habit of bobbing your head back and forth sometimes (that's another way to get steroscopic information)?
In regards to your question, Yes. You are supposed to sit more than 10 feet from the thing anyhow (X-Rays are emitted by the TV).
Umm... I have a CD full of Open Source software for MS Windows. About half the GPL'd stuff out there will run on any platform. So if you're looking for a text processor to run under Windows 2000, well MS Office is not the only choice out there.

So, basicly, because some guy pulled a magic trick on you, the anyone who disagrees with you is insane? Interesting logic.

As we say in church:
We Worship His Third Day Ressurection!
Wrong. Pre-Catholic.
Didn't St. Cuthbert of England convert the heathens to Christianity with a cudgel? I beleive the conversion went something like this:
St. Cuthbert: "Do you belive in Christ my child?"
Prosective Convert: "No, that stuff is..."
St. Cuthbert: "THWACK!"
After the prospective convert regains consiousness.
St. Cuthbert: "Do you belive in Christ my child?"
Prosective Convert: "Yes Holy Father."

It's obvious you have not read the bible. You certainly don't understand it otherwise you would not even make such a foolish statement.

Sorry, I was drunk when I coded that.

Note: Some of the pirated codelines inlude:
#include <stdio.h>
main()
{
printf("Hello World!/n");
return(0);
}
My Goodness! Will wicked piracy of SCO code never cease! Oh woe! Oh Doom! Oh Barf!
Hmm, a little too much sarcasm. Must clean up now. Toodles!
