    I don't know, I have never used an E-Book program on it. But I imagine they do. But I still would have to make a conscious effort to press it, which detracts from the experience.

    I completely agree with you about the scrolling. I prefer books, tho. I do read books online (I have a O'Reilly Safari Bookshelf subscription), but it is nothing like the real thing.

    One advantage of books that I have not found on my Zire (hey, it was free, I won it in a contest) is that with books, the turning of pages is continuous, and many times, I have no idea when I turn the page when I am involved in a book. I just turn the pages instinctively, and I get incredibly annoyed if I have to scroll down to continue.

    On the RAM side, most motherboards these days support 3-4GB of RAM. Mine right now supports 4GB; I run 1GB in it for now, and will be buying a second GB fairly soon.

    With current 32-bit windows computers, the maximum amount of RAM that is possible is 2GB. You can't put any more in without going 64-bit. Unless you have a G5, Opteron, Sun, or SGI (which is not most motherboards), you can't have more than 2GB of RAM.

    I think you are referring to Kleenex and Xerox, I have never heard of Kodak being used as common usage. The same thing is currently happening to Google. Just Google(tm) it! It's both a good and a bad thing.
