Today we have a similar debate over this. Anyone know what this is? Class? Anyone? Anyone? Anyone seen this before? The Laffer Curve. Anyone know what this says? It says that at this point on the revenue curve, you will get exactly the same amount of revenue as at this point. This is very controversial. Does anyone know what Vice President Bush called this in 1980? Anyone? Something-d-o-o economics. "Voodoo" economics.

Whenever I hear of supply side or trickle down economics I think of that. =P

i would beleive that the last thing microsoft really wants is for someone running xp pro to fire up a free version of vpc and running linux to see what is looks like and how it works.

I think if someone was even interested in running a emulation program to see how linux was, they'd probably be smart enough to download a free live cd and just boot from that to get a glance.

This reminds me of a print ad I saw awhile ago. 7. "Official?" on PlayStation 3 Delay Official · · Score: 4, Informative

"Sony Computer Entertainment will delay the release of its PlayStation 3 next-generation video game console until early November because the copy-protection technology for the Blu-ray Disc has not been finalized," reported the paper. No specific regions were mentioned, making it unclear if the delay was for the Japanese PS3 or a worldwide release.

While authoritative in tone, it must be emphasized that the Nihon Keizai Shimbun report is in no way official. Though Sony's last-minute decision to change tomorrow's event from a closed-door presentation to a full-fledged press conference augurs a major announcement, Sony is staying mum. When contacted by GameSpot, a Sony Computer Entertainment America rep declined comment, saying "we have not made any new announcements on PlayStation 3."

So you're saying you'd rather do the petfood plant job than the systems support job? Yeah it looks like you took a pay hit but do you think you'd be able to look for large clumps of petfood on a conveyor belt for x hours a week for 20 years? Those jobs exist for people who don't have the benefit of education and because most educated people don't want to do them, they want something cushier. I had a similiar job as well at a fruit cannery, on the grape belt and we had to pick out stems and grapes that looked not as nice as the others. I only did that for a little while and it made my brain want to melt.

Worse, people generally drive in SUVs alone. A vehicle that could carry four people is carrying only one. A carpool in an efficient vehicle is therefore *twenty times* as efficient as the usual SUV trip.

Heh not very, its in real good shape actually and theres a good aftermarket prescence as well as lots of places still to get oem parts when needed. I'm still hoping to find the magical glass-sunroof panel in an OEM box. There are rumours to their existence but so far the only person who said they got some was a guy who got some from his friend who worked at a dealership that closed down. Chances are they were just 10th AE panels, I think those were bronze-tinted glass. Oh have you seen the infamous '88 10th AE FC3S' with the 20B engines? I've heard there's 3 of them that Mazda made but now they're just chilling in a warehouse in Hiroshima.
