So how is that NOT punishing "law-abiding citizens" and promoting piracy? Do you ride the little bus to work at that industry lobbying group or are you just a moron?

No, I'm right for the right reasons and you are a bit of an idiot. Linux can run on a "PC" or a "PC" can run something else, regardless of how one defines "PC." Communism is an economic system that can or can not be run democratically. That you don't understand these concepts is not surprising, but it's pretty fucking sad anyway.

To sum your post up by paragraph:

    1) You're wrong. You are correct that your post is funny, though.
    2) You're wrong and clearly don't know what you are talking about, but you're trying very hard to sound like you have a clue about anything.
    3) You're wrong, again. Your comments on the state and nature of Linux shows that you have no idea what you are talking about and your blaming of these imagined ills on the GPL is beyond absurd.
    4) Communism is a form of socialism, moron.

Thanks for playing, but you've failed spectacularly. Feel free to agree with me again in the future, but don't bother trying to break me down unless you bring some sense or at least a passing knowledge of the subjects at hand.

apple just does that to make fools think their crap is "special" somehow. Even microsoft is getting in on this act with their "games for windows" brand trying to push "windows" as the platform instead of the generic "PC" name. I just wish the moron gamer kids running windows would realize that "Linux" and "PC" are as comparable as communism and democracy. "PC" means either x86-compatible or generic personal computer, it doesn't mean "windows" you fuckwits!

Why don't they just put up a torrent with the Hyundai commercials plastered on top like they have on the site? As long as they make it disappear when it'd be covering up part of the joke, someone's name, or other things like that it'd seem like a pretty good deal to me. A single source that I could setup to automatically download via RSS, they'd get their ad money, and I wouldn't have to subscribe to cable TV or put up with their shitty servers to watch the show legit.

I guess a web-based player is nice for looking up specific segments from the archives, but not so great for watching the program.

This is exactly what is happening here. If you're not going to pay for it anyway it's way easier to just go to a torrent site and download it in like two clicks, especially if it's somewhere you go often anyway. It doesn't help that the official website is kind of hard to look at, requires quite a bit of clicking to get through, makes you register, and has a queue.

So what you're saying is that the loss in sales for "piracy" is $0? So, in fact, no one is being ripped off. As a corporate troll, the people you should actually be concerned with are those who buy and sell "pirated" materials. The ones who buy are clearly part of the "market" and demonstrate that the going rate is too high and those who sell are actually taking something away from the owners of the IP, because at the very least they could have taken those sales at the lower rate themselves.

It's too bad, because FIFA and Winning Eleven are easily the best on xbox, but no way I'm going to support the end of digital entertainment freedom represented by microsoft as a leader in the video game/set top box market. As bad as Sony is there's nothing they can do that would be as horrible as what would happen if this generation of consoles ends with microsoft in the place Sony was with PS2.
