If they are sticking to the $25 cost, this is getting cheaper every year even though they are increasing performance. If you figure the future value in 2005 of the cost at 2011, it should be around $39.
I guess it will depend on who they are working for. If it is for the CIA, FBI or RIAA, then they are crime fighters. If they work for Anonymous, Wikileaks, or the Chinese government, then they are criminals.
First thing that popped into my mind when I heard this was that damn song from the Wizard of OZ. Ding dong the wicked witch is dead! Now just waiting to hear:
As Coroner, I must aver
I thoroughly examined him
And he's not only merely dead,
He's really most sincerely dead
(Mayor)
Then this is a day of independence for all the Libyans
And their descendants
Yes, let the joyous news be spread
The wicked old witch at last is dead!
As a stable server-class OS, I think Ubuntu is not quite ready for the enterprise. However, as a desktop OS, it blows RedHat and SuSE out of the water. I have been a Xubuntu user for years. I used to switch distros about every 6 months. That ended once I tried Xubuntu. I just keep upgrading.
True. Does not necessarily make it right. The Iwo Jima photos were taken with a manual camera and real film. If you want to make sure you get the shot, I can see staging it. But with today's digital cameras and automatic triggers that can shoot multiple shots every second, I am not so sure staging a shot is necessary except for propaganda.
You misunderstand. I am talking about those that were trying to figure out what stuxnet was and who the intended target could be. That was a global effort. If there is a group attempting to thwart cyber threats, a global coordinated effort seems to make more sense to me than the war room mentality.
From what I have read about Stuxnet, it was a global coordinated effort. The benefit to that level of diversity is the "out of the box" thinking is off the chart. You put similar people with similar backgrounds in the same room, and the hacking world will eat their lunch.
Besides the debate as to whether this is a duplicate story, electrolysis has been around since the 19th century. The only thing here is that they are using solar cells to generate the power. Seems to me like saying a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup is a new discovery because they mixed chocolate with peanut butter.
Wow, you must be really popular at the Ron Paul meetings.
You say that like it's a bad thing. Considering the Arab Spring, protest does seem to have an affect. But I agree that the way to really hurt someone motivated by the bottom line is hurting the bottom line.
I agree. The big problem is overcoming the inertia of moving to a new service. For many, Facebook has become their family photo albums. Even if Google+ provides a better service, most do not want to start over. They also don't want to deal with moving all of their pictures over. The daily connectivity and communication is something that can quickly be overcome, but the archived photos and videos is the anchor that will keep people on Facebook.
Crazy! This is like putting a Morris Mini in the bed of a Ford F350.

FV=(25*(1+4.5%)^6)*(1+3%)^6
= $38.87

I was thinking the same thing.
See this is why I don't use facebook..... er...damn it!
Users will want an app that allows them to migrate off RIM to iOS or Android.
You sir have restored my faith in /.
I know, call it the Dual-Transposed V-shaped Synergistic Winged Vehicle. (DTVSWV for short)
All you'd need is a targeting system with a big rotating mirror, and you'd have everything you need to vaporize a human target from space.

That was Quick!
Thank you. I'll be here all week. Don't forget to tip your waitress.

Some of us were not at "work". We missed it.
So who is going to win the World Series this year?

Awesome idea. Now if I can just find a way to slip it into a soda can (work) or beer bottle (home).

Maybe this will clear up the confusion.
Are you kiding? Christians love worshiping images of Christ.
Maybe they are going to buy up some really cheap Borders Books franchises.
Finally a good post and I am all out of mod points!
