    What we're really going to need, and soon, is a program to know what all these *coin currencies are, and maybe some exchanges to change your Xcoins to Ycoins to dollars. Maybe even a consumer report on the issue: "We recommend avoiding FraudCoin as a poor value."

    If a national bank decided to destroy a large amount of debt records and then simply refused to acknowledge foreign debts without extensive documentation?

    Your logic is completely ass backwards, since the foreigners will have the original loan records, not the Argentines.

    Abolishing foreign debt is one of the 5 ways to eliminate debt and you don't need to destroy records to do it.

    Germany was having significant financial problems in the 1930's; which actually allowed Hitler to gain control. Once in power he basically said "fuck you" to all foreign debts - as that was the previous government's doing. That will ruin your country's credit rating, so he just pillaged all of Europe instead.

    When I upgraded my PC I used the old parts to build an XBMC HTPC. The old MB was perfect because it had onboard video, audio, ethernet so it didn't require any cards (super low profile).

    The onboard video was an ATI Radeon HD 4xxx and a pain in the butt. I couldn't just make a bootable thumbdrive as > Ubuntu 12.04 wouldn't support that card. And the XBMC version that was bundled with 12.04 had other issues.

    Windows dominates most desktops and has a large foot print for servers.

    I once got asked a question which I found hurtful and offensive, and felt tempted to 'blow up' the interview at that point. Fortunately, I resisted the temptation. As it turns out, the question was his way of introducing the next thing, which was telling me that he was offering me the job.

    I hear what you're saying. Regardless of your appearance they're not suppose to ask if you're a pre-op transsexual; but I'm glad you resisted blowing-up over it.

    And exactly what do the tens of thousands of random fire arms do for you in an attempt to foil the powers that be?

    Planning on taking over the neighborhood Air Force base with a few of your friends and convincing the pilots to bomb DC? Overrun the National Guard Armory and steal some Vietnam era trucks and a few radios (oops, wrong frequency ..)

    Can you think of some, perhaps less violent ways of accomplishing something useful?

    I don't think that an armed citizenry is keeping the government from doing what it wants.

    I'm with ColdWetDog. Look at historical war strategies and you'll see, once again, the Jews had the right idea. Eventually someone else will come around and save the day, we just need to wait it out in 'camps' until that day comes. Unlike traditional prisons where boredom is the enemy I heard the Jews were given quite a few busy tasks to help them pass the time. Hell, they even contributed to scientific and medical research as well.
