    I bought a copy of "We Shall Fight in the Streets" from Paladin Press back in the 1960s. It was originally printed by the British government. Anyway, if you're a Brit, why go thru the trouble of buying a book when all you need to do is go to your local mosque or Irish pub?

    After the communist Chinese version of Win98 came out, it was found that MS's Taiwan coders had planted a little surprise for their brethern across the Taiwan Straits....at certain times during the year a Taiwanese flag would appear on the desktop and "Screw the Communists" (or words to that effect) would scroll across the screen. I thought it was kind of cute but apparently neither MS nor the commies did.

    Why should IBM have anything to do with DR. DOS? That's Caldera......IBM puts out PC-DOS and yes, it's still supported and they still put out upgrades. In fact you can buy PC-DOS 2000 for under $70US.

    Warp absolutely kicks ass. It's stable and fast. I can browse with Netscape and write/send email without a keyboard....all using voice commands on a Pentium 133 with 32Mb of ram. Try that on ANY other operating system.

    Just for the record, more than 30% percent of the farmland in Taiwan is polluted with cadmium and other heavy metals. What's sad is that it WASN'T the electronics companies that dumped it.....t'was the farmers themselves! Due to Taiwan's land-use laws, farmers can use their land ONLY for farming. As farming is a unprofitable occupation (and most of the farmers are poor, elderly and uneducated) the only way they can sell the land is to have it reclassified unusable for agriculture. They arrange for pollutants to be brought in and purposely poison their own land. Once it's been reclassified, it can be sold for industrial or residential purposes and the farmer can retire considerably richer (land in Taiwan is VERY expensive).

    I guess you haven't had REAL Asian food. Believe me, a big bowl of stewed pig fat with rice is not what I like for lunch, but it's considered great cuisine in Taiwan and China. BTW, in Chinese the words for fat and meat are usually interchangable.

    OS/2 is one of the finest operating systems ever developed....if you had trouble with the installation, etc, etc then I suggest you stick with your Playstation. You won't have to tax your brain too much.
