" In San Antonio, TX, everyone is on crack and drives a Ford F450 Dually 100mph, everywhere."
I love driving in San Antonio for that very reason:)
Texas drivers seem to me like this.
San Antonio Drivers are stuipd and ignorant. Dallas Drivers are Malicious and out to get you Austin Drivers are simply aggressive and Houston Drivers....don't get me started...
"Its a variation of "the car with the worst body work has right of way" rule;)"
My personal favorite is the "Car worth the least has right of way".
Go ahead. Hit my $2000 car. I'll always come out on top with insurance. I've gottenr rear ended three times now (I was in a que stopped at a stop sign all three times) and I've gotten more money then the car is worth over the course of these endevours easily.
Thank you!! This is my biggest Pet Peeve on the road. I don't care if I see brake lights as long as I know that the closure rate isn't changing all that much. My girlfriend however doesn't seem to get this concept and still hits the brakes hard whenever she sees brake lights. That's what causes traffic jams IMHO.
Close, except that comcast isn't forced to build out. Not really. They agreeded to build out because the governement gave them rights of way for their lines. They are only "forced" because they agreeded to be.
Do tell me you are kidding, Are there drivers for OS X? I was looking into buying a RAZR (trite I know) and one of the neato things I liked was the USB port.
"maybe one for data to play mp3's thru your radio"
I know I've seen this in a factory radio. i think it was a VW. You basically copied mp3s on a thumb drive and plugged it in either on the dash or the center console, can't quite remember. Automagically you could then play music off that drive.
Could it not be argued that the money that the producers make from selling accessories that they now won't recieve from the stanardized cables is/was used to pay workers and thus is put back into the economy anyway? So doesn't this make the question into something like is it better for customer A to buy charger cheaply and have a few extra bucks to spend, or is it better for Worker B to get paid a little more and have a little bit more money to spend?
Then again it could be argued that the company would keep the money, which they would but they would ultimately (if acting rationally) spend the money to make more money, as simply hoarding money isn't a smart business decision, thus putting that money back into the economy anyway?
"Even the series A receptacles would be fine if they weren't made of cheap pot metal you can bend with your index finger. There must be mil-spec versions."
I think it has been downhill since the good old DB-25 days. Now that would be a durable connector for a mobile!
" the coffee served her was served at an incredibly unsafe temperature. no restaurant serves coffee at this temperature because it is a blatant safety hazard."
That's incorrect. I worked at starbucks when I was in college. We served our teas and freshly brewed coffee at 190F. If you'd read up on the case that is right about the same temperature that McDonalds was serving their coffee. So places do serve coffee and teas that hot.
hey now ESPN is already taken, just put a 2 after it so we know it's the second one ;)
I'm fairly confident that even the older non "live" cd's once you got to the inital boot screen you could boot into a shell.
Also, Thanks for the new sig :)
I'd mod you up higher if I could
+1 RealityCheck
"The X-Files already proved that it was the Cancer Man who did the assassination."
Hello Dear X-Files brother! I agree!
That's just the kind of talk a commie pinko sympathizer would have!
" Isn't it fair for stupidity to be taxed?"
I think it's the least we can do.
Wha?
Slashdot has been around longer then this "Web 2.0" thing. How exactly is slashdot "web 2.0"?
Not sure if it world work or not, but it would make on kickin waterslide for sure!

"How many people order hot dogs and pay the delivery guy an extra $5 to simulate prices at the stadium? "
Please tell me where I can order delivery franks. That would be just too awesome for words.
" Oh, and 83% of statistics are made up."
That's the '05 Number, it was 87% in '06, and projected to break 90% in '07.

I feel like a nerd for thinking of this but wasn't that also an X-Files episode?

Gonna play devils advocate for a bit here.

It stands for Universal. Ohh I see what you were doing there.....
I prefer the inexpensivity (it's a word now) of used records. In Dallas there is a place that sells them for as little as 50 cents per album!
So what happens when the balloon bursts?
"I spent my time playing wargames. The kind from Avalon Hill, SPI, etc."
Hello soul mate. I lost much time to Ambush! Tactics II, and Kreigspiel.
