    In many countries there is a set of tests which pretty much are the only measure and the only chance you get. If you do badly or the computer system fucks up you're screwed.

    Computers water down the concept of "fake," since every copy is as pristine as its original. Surely they don't mistake a warez copy of a game or application as 'fake?'

    Who would get a pipe that guaranteed a minimum throughput (by throttling you if you hit the maximum) but explicitly spelled out how big your traffic contigency (up and download) was? What if there was no guaranteed minimum throughput? Is connectivity more important to you than high-speed access?

    Eating less!

    That's one half of the equation. The other half is to lower your blood sugar level. Get a meter and after every meal (absolutely everything you eat or drink) check your sugar level. If it stays above 100 for a long period time (about 2-5 hours), you have identified something you shouldn't eat or drink. A level between 40 and 80 is healthy, anything above 80 is unhealthy, 800 is like a nuke for your brain. Read an article on Kuro5hin for the whole explanation.

    The GPL puts user freedom above all. Just because it won't let a company work around a loop hole in v2 doesn't mean it's "getting closer to anti-capitalism." I would call it becoming ultra-capitalistic; more rights and protections for users to resell GPL'ed software.
