    The only bad thing I experienced when testing this NdisWrapper was that I needed Linux 2.6.0-test8 or higher.

    I don't want to run a beta version of Linux, so is there any good reason for this?

    I wasn't meaning everything entirely in assembly language, my bad.

    Those compilers are helpful is suppose to be Those compiler FLAGS are helpful, acually.

    And, when using it combined with C og C++ (or any other programming language) you can avoid using operating system specific stuff :-)

    Why now just write faster code, and use inline assembler when needed, possibly with SIMD and MMX instructions?

    Those compilers are helpful, but as stated in article, squeeze the last drop of performance from a code is what they do.

    One could imagine, for instance, contact lenses with displays and miniature computers on them, so that you can experience a virtual tour of a new city as you walk around.

    Considering we are geeks, going to a new city doesn't involve walking around, more like visiting conventions and getting the latest cool funny-phrase-sysadmin-tshirts.
    Take away the walking part mister, and you have yourself a deal.

    Since the sources to windows are not open, it would be most likely to have the fewest discovered security holes. Programs like OpenSSH and the Linux kernel itself (and many others) has sources available which makes it easier to locate the security holes but then again they are fixed quicker.

    Now, since this isn't even true (according to PJ at Groklaw), we can only imaging how much more there is in Microsoft Windows.

    I have been noticing as well, I've not had modpoints for quite some time, and most of my posts have been modde redundant for some reason, when I feel they're not. No major problems, I usually meta-moderate 10 posts, but yes there is some weird issues.

    You have your pixel drawing function, which is the only requirement to do 3d on a 2d-screen.
    All it requires from YOU is some maths.
