No, but this is slahdot where moderators run wild. This very post will probably be modded down under, but that's just the way it is.
Will they stop at nothing!?
One could imagine, for instance, contact lenses with displays and miniature computers on them, so that you can experience a virtual tour of a new city as you walk around.
Considering we are geeks, going to a new city doesn't involve walking around, more like visiting conventions and getting the latest cool funny-phrase-sysadmin-tshirts. Take away the walking part mister, and you have yourself a deal.
Since the sources to windows are not open, it would be most likely to have the fewest discovered security holes. Programs like OpenSSH and the Linux kernel itself (and many others) has sources available which makes it easier to locate the security holes but then again they are fixed quicker.
Now, since this isn't even true (according to PJ at Groklaw), we can only imaging how much more there is in Microsoft Windows.
I have been noticing as well, I've not had modpoints for quite some time, and most of my posts have been modde redundant for some reason, when I feel they're not. No major problems, I usually meta-moderate 10 posts, but yes there is some weird issues.
There isn't much to block a radio signal if you're in a balloon; so the news that Alvarion has managed to reach a 310 km distance probably isn't as exciting as it sounds.

Definitly the demo dvd (mindcandy).
It features PC demos from 1993 to today. For definition of what a demo is check here
There has been a lot of conflict around just this fork for some time. More information on XEmacs homepage with some mailinglists messages.
The Gnu ASsembler ought to be enough for everyone.
Isn't the GP32 way more powerful than any of the Gameboy handhelds? It doesn't sounds like a fair match.
The article mentions Linux all the time, and Linus, but it wouldn't be usable as an entirely free operating system without the free software from GNU.
:-)
Now, let the flaming and zealot-naming begin, but what I'm saying is just true.
The only bad thing I experienced when testing this NdisWrapper was that I needed Linux 2.6.0-test8 or higher.
I don't want to run a beta version of Linux, so is there any good reason for this?
I wasn't meaning everything entirely in assembly language, my bad.
:-)
Those compilers are helpful is suppose to be Those compiler FLAGS are helpful, acually.
And, when using it combined with C og C++ (or any other programming language) you can avoid using operating system specific stuff
Why now just write faster code, and use inline assembler when needed, possibly with SIMD and MMX instructions?
Those compilers are helpful, but as stated in article, squeeze the last drop of performance from a code is what they do.
I've always wanted to learn how Linux was written, FROM SCRATCH!
I hope there will be book about GNU/Linux from scratch soon.
(awaits the flame about old smelling men with beards, and so on)
First these solarflares, and now this?!

No, but the 65th anniversary probably is ;-) .. sort of.
Maybe you want to take a look a mono.

Now, the only downside; the NES cartridges are large than the GameBoy Advance itself.
That would only create a copy of the original letter ;-)
Can you also convert your mail to the original letters again?
Ah, thanks for clearing that up. :-)
According to the webpage:

Y depends on:
* libSDL 1.2 (available at www.libsdl.org)
Now, doesn't libSDL again depend on X?
Beam me up scottie!
Oh, the program running that beam-machine has a weird patent now?!
Hello, Anonymous coward.
I'm the dumbfuck here? (which by the way is not one word).
You have your pixel drawing function, which is the only requirement to do 3d on a 2d-screen.
All it requires from YOU is some maths.
What about tinyptc?
It offers three basic functions, open() close() and update(), which is all you acually need, and it's very simple.
Homepage.
or not?.
