maybe SOME people don't like haveing to be connceted to the net to play a simple fuckign game just for the sole reason the publisher and developer can "feel safe"

Also theres not way to assure that you'll beble ot play it in 10 years, and yes some poeple DO NOT have internet because of where they live.

And then theres the whoal possiblity that can track u with your CD-key that many won't like.

There are plenty of reasons and i for one will not be buying the game bceause of the activation. if i need/want to play it i'll just download it, less hassle that way and i know it WILL work.

well what gets me is how the hell od they prove it?

i mean there are only so many ways to do something, and so many MANY ways to figure out exactly what something is doing and then write your own implementation.

read code, copy (not cut n paste, read their code and then write your version), delete. How on earth could it be proven beyond any doubt?

Not that i'm advocateing this or anything i just don't see how it can be proven.

and as a side note, has there ever been any court cases where it has been proven??

    1) with a high sensitvity this is never a problem. and its never caused a problem for me in any of the much faster paced UT2004 multiplay games i've played.

    2) wtf?! with a keyboard you have something like 100 keys. And if you use wasd you have 25 keys within easy reach. Not ot mention the various combos you can have.

    3) Buy a high qual mouse. And even cheap mice are really good, at least optical ones.

    4) Learn about computers, a keyboard can return upto about 5 key presses at once. That problem is the texteditor only recive the key the OS is decideing to repeat, the last key pressed.

If you palyed a FPS on a computer, and i'm sure you never have bceause you would know that and more. a DJC is a poor excuse for a KBM setup by far.

I hate being asked if i need help. Rarely if ever do i need help in a large box store. If i am going to be buying something and i have questions i got to a smaller specialty store where i'll get the right answers.

And if i need help and theres no one around to ask i go and track someone down. Its not exactly hard to do.
