I agree. One problem I have with Dell is, they usually do not apply their promotions (double memory, free LCD monitor) to their "n" series (systems with alternative OS). So during promotions, a Linux or a FreeDOS system ends up more expensive than a Windows system.
We are an all Linux shop here. But when we buy a system from Dell, we get a Windows system, wipe the harddrive and install Linux.
Although it is not a very common name, "Atilla" is a regular name in Turkish. Using it as a nickname in Turkey would be similar to using "Steve" as a nick in the US.

If I'd lost my camera, the first place I would look would be the lost&found, which in this case is Taxi and Limousine Commission . If this story wasn't posted on slashdot and if I were that person, I wouldn't know smo has my property, because blogs aren't the place where lost&found is posted.
That doesn't make sense. Since FC1 works perfectly well with XP, what you are saying is FC1 is able to workaround this "bug", but FC2 cannot do that for some unknown reason. That sounds stupid.
One of the reasons why high-speed HDDs are not available is the problems of air flow inside the disk. At high speeds, those disks create hell a lot of vibration because of the air flow pattern between the disks.
wxWidgets is a free alternative for Qt (formerly known as wxWindows). I am currently using it and so far so good. It supports openGL, multiple languages. It is also documented quite well.
Furthermore, we discussed crossplatform GUI toolkits before here and here
Hey guess what? I am from Turkey. I haven't been to all of them but we muslims don't put up signs on mosques. So that must be some bullshit you just made up.
According to our religion, men do not pray with women side by side, that is true. But that doesn't mean that women cannot go into mosques. Most of them have separate rooms for women to pray.
Acceleration or deceleration does not depend on distance. At least directly.
0, a->Inf, you can create huge acceleration rates when you change the velocity of an object a little bit in a very short period of time.
If you want a proof, try pushing the brake pedal to the floor when going 5mph. This would create enough deceleration rate to hit your head to the steering wheel.
If you can create a machine (i.e Robocoaster), that can change speeds rapidly, you will get enough acceleration that make you think you are in a real rollercoaster.
And for those of you who are worried about the wind: Haven't you heard of fans? The thing that makes all the noise inside your computer?
"Back to the future" ride in Universal Studios, Orlando works with this priciple and it is very convincing.

I wonder what else people will try to justify with the terrorism argument.
Bush's re-election was one thing, people copying him is another.

I know you are joking but in a few countries, including my home country Turkey, they use a special ink to mark the right index finger.
The ink does not come off for about a week, no matter what you apply to it.

We keep one set of backup in the office, one in the bank. Then they are rotated every week.
Even if the building burns down, our backup is safe. Although I don't know what to do with them when there are no machines to be backed-up.

Hey that is my address!! No wonder I am frequently visited by fbi.
On a serious note, I use the *exact* same address when I have to fake one.

I don't understand how you think corporate forces are targeting the RIAA.
The ad encourages the use of legal medium(iTunes and others) to download music, while it shows that the kids sued by the RIAA learnt their lesson.

I agree it is a cool hack, but why would you need an ethernet plug in the armrest if you have wi-fi and bluetooth?

Yep, just stop after earning half of what gets you caught and you are good.
Only if you can figure out that limit, of course.

Free your mind...Then how would I drive, talk on the phone and use my palm at the same time?? Sheesh!
