Nothing Sony has done to anyone has had any effect whatsoever on its profits. If you honestly think.005% impacts their bottom line, you need a reality check.

Sony's profits or losses are due to fairies and the movements of the celestial bodies. Nothing the company does affects their bottom line.
I have a PhD in chemistry, and I have learnt stuff from mythbusters. I now know that the terminal velocity of a penny is lower than that of a human, and that high velocity rounds shatter when they are fired into water.
The show is entertaining, and has a science flavour. It is better to have light-weight science that people watch, than heavy-weight stuff that only the scientific elite understand. I see it as a kids show, meant to recruit the next generation of scientists. Sure the science is simplistic, but at least there is some science on TV.
It would be nice to be able to upgrade the graphics. I had a cube, and eventually got rid of it because I couldn't upgrade the graphics card - the processor and memory where fine. I now have a mini, and its weakness again is the underpowered (for me) graphics card. However, for the price I paid, I'm very happy with it.
That's not on the procul harum wikipedia page! it must be lies!
Bear in mind:
1) I'm not serious
2) It will be edited otherwise within 30 secs of me posting this.
3) The whole parent post could be oblique wikipedia vandalism.
The article is overly simplified, and reads like the researchers are blowing their own trumpet. If you have a clean metal surface, pretty much anything will stick to it. This will form a stable layer with a regular structure. Whilst it may be the first time anyone has seen anything that big, I would doubt that it is an entirely new mechanism as they claim.
It has a space for a second optical drive.
For what it's worth, I'd like a 100MPG car, which does 200 MPH, and costs $10,000. But I don't expect one to turn up anytime soon. You get what you pay for.
Two 2Ghz Dual core Xeon
1GB (2x512MB) RAM
160GB 7200-rpm Serial ATA 3Gb/s
NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT 256MB (single-link DVI/dual-link DVI)
16x double-layer SuperDrive that burns and plays both CDs and DVDs
4 hard drive bays - up to 3TB storage.
8 RAM slots - up to 16GB RAM.
4 full-length PCI Express expansion slots.
$2124
But I bet that's still not good enough for you. What do you do with all this expansion you crave?
By your logic, the fact that I bought stuff on vinyl and cassette is also a lock-in, although these formats could be played by anyone. Because now I have lots of music in these formats and it would be a "royal pain in the ass" to convert them to another format. I really can't see how that is different to buying stuff from itunes.
The best format for music changes, and it would be foolish to think in fifty years that MP3, AAC or CD will still be the most used way of storing the musical bits. Whatever format you use, it is going to be a hassle to convert to any future format if you have a large quantity of music.
We've had one of those for a while now, on this side of the pond. http://www.isis.rl.ac.uk/ They are building a second target at the site, due to open in 2008.
Do you know how much space the OSX install takes up? I can't remember, but I'm sure it is up around 10 gig. Of course, it could be argued that this is not rubbish...
If you click the apple menu - then got to "About this Mac", it will give you the specs. I think there is a "More info" button there for more detail,(posting from XP at work) if not go to Applications > Utilities > System Profiler. That will tell you about all the bits in your box.
The OS remembers what order it was in before, so if you sort alphabetically, it will be alphabetical, then if you sort by type, it will be sorted by type, with each type sub-sorted alphabetically.
It might not be quite what is wanted, but it will separate the folders into an alphabetical listing.
Personally I detest the brain dead way it gets sorted in windows. YMMV
You can use expose to show all windows of the current application as well, so if you want to see all your terminals, or all of your photoshop windows.
By default:
F9: All windows shown
F10: All windows of current application shown
F11: Desktop shown
From the article: Still, few scientists expect a fusion reactor to generate commercially viable electricity before the middle of the century, if by then.
I managed to get doom3 running on my mini, even though it was below the minimum spec. Granted it suffered from extreme slowdown in places, but I did manage to complete the game.
Worked for me using camino on mac when I saw it a few days ago. Do you have the latest flash?
Instructions for putting the date in the menu bar here, here, or here.

Isn't that graphite?
http://www.bleep.com/ allows MP3 downloads from some indie labels. So you are wrong.

Or maybe they've just been keeping records of the MAC addresses connected to their servers?

Those are the columbia hills, named after the astronauts who died when the shuttle exploded.

JET http://www.jet.efda.org/ has been doing fusion for quite a while.
