    It's not clear what they mean by "custom" though. The motors, batteries, and electronics are stock items. I don't see what custom features they can add; the "prototype" looks like only the plastic arms were printed.

    It was clearly under 400 feet. First - a shotgun wouldn't take it down from a range of over 100 yards. Second - the neighbor said it dropped low enough to peek under the patio roof.

    The drone operator's claim that he was taking pictures of a buddy's house is total BS, he was spying on people in their backyards

    That's the wrong interpretation of "fittest."

    That's exactly the definition of "fittest". Able to survive in the environment (in this case exposed to an antibiotic) better than others of the same species. Whether you use the word "fittest" or "strongest" is irrelevant.

    The argument is that some of the organisms have a slightly higher resistance to the host's natural defense system. If the vaccine doesn't cause that system to kill all of the pathogens, the ones that survive are better able to infect other hosts. It's a very plausible theory.

    Not true. MMR vaccine is effective in 95% of children after the first dose, meaning that 5% might still be vulnerable.

    Which is why "fully immunized" means two doses. That's give about 99% protection. Intentionally eaving 5% of the population vulnerable is stupid.

    Not all, but the overwhelming majority of them.

    The measles vaccine isn't perfect, two doses are required and even them it's possible to get the disease. But the chances of it spreading are greatly reduced if everyone is immunized.

    Health officials have immunization records of 43 measles patients; 37 were unimmunized, one had only one shot, and five were fully immunized.

    Have you ever actually looked at how much oil companies pay in taxes each year? Exxon has topped the list for a long time, but the other big oil companies are right up there.

    Exxon Mobil is one of the nation’s largest companies by a number of measures. The oil and gas titan trails only Walmart in revenue and has the highest pre-tax income of any American public company. Not surprisingly, Exxon Mobil also pays more in taxes than any other corporation.

    No Republican will change their stance because of Trump. He only places well in the CNN/USA Today polls of "Democrats who say they're Republicans". He has zero chance of getting the nomination.

    It wasn't that the ad was ineffective. Over 2/3 of visitors left the site as soon as the pop-up was displayed - it was actively driving most visitors away. That's not a rejection of Google+, it's a rejection of the site for using overly intrusive advertising.

    I have to wonder who outpoured disapproval? It doesn't seem like something most users would care about.

    On the other hand, headhunters who use LinkedIn as a site for harvesting resumes would be angry. But isn't that the whole point of LinkedIn? To give recruiters your contact info so they can spam you?

    It wouldn't surprise me if this was just a publicity stunt.
