    Not a chance. U Texas at Dallas had one about 4 years ago that got 'moved' to Southern Methodist University about 3 years ago.... (I know someone that teaches there.)

    I am 7/7 for getting frisked at airports.

    Dom't be so sure that it is your website. I get hit on a regular basis because I look Arab. (I am not - at least as best I know - not that it matters.) I now understand why African Americans complain about 'driving while black'.... If things happen as predicted, they'll be able to hit people on the net 'just because'.... (surfing from a given university or company or region of the country or emailing outside of the US.... you pick it.)

    OH and this is on topic (abuse of power) so don't mod it down. Oh well you did it anyway.

    Between the US Patriot (??) Act and John Ashcroft's computer program (I have forgotten the name), this is a very real possiblity. Here is the real problem. Everyone 'sins' - If they want to attack you they can do so with impunity now. It seems to me that this is how the Roman Republic and then Empire fell. Abuse of power by those at the top.. 1984 is not far away.

    This is so sad that they would accept failure on such a large project. However it would appear to be typical. But try failing on your tax return.....

    But since the OEM/VARs already have a selling/manufacturing process with Windows on new PCs, it make sense to stick with it.

    There is one problem with your argument - that is cost. In the days of commodity PCs ($400) the price of Windose is too much. This is why Linux will eventually win. Even Dell will sell PCs with Linux installed (or they did!) - it costs less

    No, the problem is not the gryos - they will run on the electricity from the photo cells - The problem is that you do not have thrust anymore to lift it back into orbit (it falls slowly) nor do you have thrust to turn the bugger. Once the orbit decays too far, it will rapidly slow down due to the far upper atmosphere and then fall onto the earth. IT should come in shortly after the shutdown date

    A minor point, perhaps, but iWork ships with Keynote as well as Pages, and Keynote is a PowerPoint replacement.

    I suspect that the rest of the office suite will come over the next few years. Keynotes was weak at the beginning as well.

    This would be like saying that AM radio is out moded. Some poeple like to learn about other people arounf the world and can do this via Hams The long distance that you can bounce the signal make it very useful for this. It is not unusual to be able to tlka to people in Africa or Russia from the US. It is also a good way to move info when other things fail. There are even systems set up for such emergencies.

    this is from a 'Phisher' - i.e a scam artist Their web site is http://www.luciu.com/wamu/ or http://217.76.130.83/wamu/ They are faking a Washington Mutual website to steal peoples bank info I keep getting trash from them so I have gone to the web site and taken revenge. (writing un printables) It feels good I just wish I knew how to hack in and really trash the thing.
