I guess you don't know the Apollo program was cut short due to Vietnam.
There were many more moon shots scheduled when the program was shut down in order to send more resources to Vietnam.

Funny considering that most of Sun's Solaris engineers use MacBook Pro's.

Let me say it again: Suicide Is Irrational. Without extreme methods, you simply can't drive a mentally healthy person to suicide.
Let me guess, YOU were the school bully.
And you bullied anyone who didn't share your view of the world.
Giving people detention is usually not effective because its a very weak deterrent.
Also because they get to hang out with their friends in detention.
And they sell themselves at rock bottom prices!!!

I don't want to sound negative, but I was always worried about Oracle buying Sun, for how it would impact negatively on Sun's business.

I used to see that behavior at O'Reilly conferences all the time.
