    I tend to agree with you on several of these points. Everytime I read something like this I ask myself, "Why not in the US."

    California is planning a high speed rail from Los Angeles to San Francisco and already people in Palo Alto have filed a lawsuit to stop it because they don't want it going through their city.

    I remember twenty years ago that an in-state call to a town 200 miles away cost thirty cents a minute.

    And yet "long distance" charges still exist today on land lines for calls that are "normal" calls on a cell phone or voip service.

    The issue on the market right now is that there is no affordable, unified, high-quality, *legal* way of getting your favorite tv shows or tv channels on your iPod, iTunes, Mac/PC.

    I was always a bit skeptical. How can you create electronic music, digitally, on computers etc and then claim that putting them on vinyl somehow magically improves the quality?

    Religious belief in the lord of vinyl.

    The day I switched was when I needed to replace a color in my inkjet, and the new one needed a head clean.

    I've never needed to clean the head on my 3 year old Epson R220.
