What do I do with the two computers I already have? Or my laptop for that matter?

You could donate them to a good cause. You said that you like to support what you believe in, so why not support KDE (if you like that kinda thing)? I'm sure there are other worthy causes as well. Perhaps a local school could use them as servers?

If all else fails, you can email me, and I'll give you my address. I'm always willing to take in lost hardware.

While I agree with a lot of what you said, I do have a reply to one point.

Where are they going that causes them to get a "ton" of message boxes? I don't think you have a grasp on the common user nor the power user nor even the internet. Please give me a couple URLs where I can see all these pop-up boxes that I have been missing

EVERY time I go to ANY page on ebay.com from work (using a patched version of ie 5.5 I believe) I get THREE popups on each page asking if I want to debug it. So when attempting to browse through various computer hardware for sale, I'm constantly hitting the 'n' key three times per page. What a waste of time.

That [.Net works with Linux] could be a big breakthrough for Linux...

At least it would work somewhere then. I've been trying to develop with .NET for a few months here. As far as I've seen, it doesn't work on Windows. They took VS 6 and decided to get rid of anything that WORKED and replace it with non-functional things. I think that .NET is something we really don't want or need on linux. I'm far happier with Java and tcl/tk and c++.

the above was the opinion of a pissed off developer, these views are not necessarily the views of the slashdot.org editors.

For a lawsuit in America, a party must have injury. This may be financial, physical, emotional, or social, but there must be some form of injury. You can't just sue someone because you don't like them, or you need the money. I'm not a lawyer, but I'm pretty sure this is common knowledge.
